Hello Chickas,

I like the idea someone gave me to blend my SlimFast. That way I get my fruit and EFA in and it makes alot more to sip on. Fills almost like I'm having a big meal (but not quite):)

Yoga girl - feel better and I hope you have a speedy recovery so that you can come on back to this thread.

Everyone is having great results - keep it up and that leads me to

Juliemarie - thanks for the words of wisdom about doing the plan(POP). Keep saying it and possibly it will give me the butt kicking that I need on a daily basis. Congrats on the date too - you go girl.

Tina - congrats on the restraint at the restaurant - you are serious girl and my (s)hero.

To all of the newbies :welcome: you've come to the right place.

Happy dance to the losers :carrot: :goodscale: :cb: :cp:

It's 9:10pm and time to get ready for nitey nite. Have a good one all.

aww, the romance story was so sweet. I wish you all the luck. When you said he called u beautiful, he just confirm what was already true. I plan on starting TO wensday, but I have started using the slimfast replace shakes. I dont like the taste of the low carb, but I can make it work.

CandlePrincess 04-25-2006 07:46 AM

ok..i blew it yesterday! We had an okay weekend and I was on plan, and yesterday my husband was sick and so was DFS and when it came time for dinner all i wanted was pizza and cheesebread. Back on track this am. Packed my healthy lunch and we are having turkey sloppy joes tonight...lots of water and my shake and I am good to get back on the wagon!

Boo'sMom 04-25-2006 08:34 AM

HeatherCP--that's the spirit! See how much we have all already learned?

Chklithunder 04-25-2006 09:37 AM

Day 2 of TO. I must admit that I did REALLY well yesterday, and I was up in the bathroom all night long. I'm sure this TO was successful in at least helping me rid myself of water weight. I am trying to figure out why this TO is so easy for me so far. Usually Day 1 is pure torture. Ah well, I'm rolling with it.

I forgot my bars today because I was mad with DH for smoking in my car and leaving butts in the ashtray (that's where I put my change), so I left in a huff promising to NEVER speak to him again (is that dramatic enough? Can we say PMS?) and I left my bars right on the counter by the door.

SO I had to buy some bars down here at the convenience store in my building (Balance bars) and now I'm back on track. Day 2 is looking promising. I'm having my juice and water as we speak, and I have cigarette ash money angst to keep me from being hungry.

BTW - Am I the only one who started yesterday? What happened to Heather PP and Shari?

sznn 04-25-2006 10:28 AM

 Looks like I may have to do T/O next week after all.
I've been on the shakes for a week - 2 days not POP and the dang scale keeps creeping up.
It is so aggravating.

I thought this AM would show a loss as I was practically angelic yesterday.
But nooooo - it went up over 1lb.

Chklithunder 04-25-2006 11:10 AM

Kristi - Good Deal. We can end together. Are you going to WI during the challenge?

Chklithunder 04-25-2006 11:22 AM

Well, I'm undecided about weighing too. I don't want to be all up in arms if I don't lose as much as I think I should. How about a WI every week? I can't post on weekends until I get my new DSL put in at home (up to 4 weeks from now, but could be sooner), so maybe a Wednesday WI?

About the total that I have to lose, my goal wt is 170, a lot higher than most - I've NEVER been thin. I think that if I can get down to my goal weight I will see how much further I would like to go, but I just can't see myself much lower than that.

Chklithunder 04-25-2006 01:28 PM

Looks like I'm the first one back, hunh? :mag:

Kristi - A monday WI would be great. That makes much more sense, really. Very cool! See you soon!

I have my shakes for dinner. It helps with my weight loss if I eat my real food earlier in the day.

Juliemarie~you go girl!!!! I hope you have found Mr.Right!! Finding love on the internet is possible.I met my husband on the internet! He answered my yahoo personal 6 years ago.we were married 2 years ago!!

Klvan~I am going to try not to weigh for my challenge.I had my husband hide the scale.I told him the only way he could let me have it back is if I was really begging and I was at least half way through the challenge.I dont go to the COD but once in a while since I live about 40 min from it so I dont have to worry about weighing in there.

chklithunder~can I ask you a ? How tall are you?

love2eat 04-25-2006 01:53 PM

Ok ladies. I am getting discouraged. I have been POP since Saturday and the scales haven't moved since TO. I am following the gold plan with 2 Luna bars and 1 shake (1P1S). I am not eating AT ALL after 7 pm. I am wondering if I just shouldn't drop the shakes and do all foods. Any suggestions or anyone seeing the same problem? I am not seeing any gain, just no loss. I am still quite a ways from my goal so I shouldn't be leveling off yet. Any ideas?

Boo'sMom 04-25-2006 01:58 PM

love2eat--I know I am a fine one to tell you not to get discouraged--but don't. I seem to be the queen of stalls, then a big week every so often--just often enough to keep me sane!! I personally think you should stick it out a while longer. I am on gold with lites and have the same problem as you. I think one major factor for you is that your weight is already VERY low--I know you may not think so but others surely will agree. The smaller you already are the harder it will get to continue losing. I think you are at a fabulous weight but you have to do what's best for you. So hang in there, I think you are doing everything right and it will happen--it's all a matter of time. Good luck!

Angelica - I am 5'4" tall. I know that my goal is probably way too high, but I think I have a really big frame. My hands and feet are huge for my height. I can palm a basketball with no problem, and I've worn a size 11 in shoes since 7th grade even when I was much shorter.

love2eat 04-25-2006 02:04 PM

Thanks Boo's Mom! I appreciate that so much! When I did the plan in november, I didn't stall until I reached 135 or so. It's just SO HARD when you are being SO GOOD and not seeing anything. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I will stick it out at least until 2nd TO. Maybe I need another dose of that! I am going to try not to get on the scales again until it is time for our 2nd TO. This is day 7 on the shakes so I will not get back on them until after I finish off the shakes and do 2 days of OP eating. I feel better already!;)

juliemarie 04-25-2006 02:06 PM

love2eat-

I hadn't realized how small you already are at this point. Obviously I have no idea of your build, but are you sure 120 is an attainable weight? You should chat with Deets-she had the same issues and was at a similar weight. The last little bit is going to be pretty difficult. Maybe you do need more food, maybe you need to tone or exercise , maybe you need less food . . . I'm not sure. But I do know you won't see the kind of losses on this challenge that others will (like me-I'm so much heavier than you are). Do you go to a center? What do they say?
