Hi everyone.
I just signed up at my local LAWL center yesterday. I had to do something else about my weight. I've done WW but I got too complacent with it. I really need the accountability.
I was down to 194 with WW but as you all know, life happens. My motivation this time is my health. It looks like I have rheumatoid arthritis

(I see the specialist Jan. 3) and taking off the excess weight will help ease the pressure on my joints.
I work as a nerve conduction tech, which means I zap people with electricity for a living. I test for things like carpal tunnel and nerve damage due to diabetes. I used to work the graveyard shift in the ICU and I thought coming to days would help with the weightloss, boy was I WRONG. The temptations are greater and the fast food restraunts are all open.
The cost of the program is going to be a stretch for me but I figure I spend at least $40/week (or more) on fast food, so if I get rid of that habbit I will pay for the program.
