I can't seem to put together even 1 day. For 2 days now we had to travel 25 miles to town, which means we eat in town and McDs doesn't have any FS foods. I have been eating as well as I can though. Tomorrow we are staying home, so I will count that as day 1.
Went to Dr today and I have lost 12 lbs in 3 months!! YIPPIE!!

Hi ladies... well, I'm starting the FS tomorrow. I'm looking to lose 50lbs. by the end of the year... looking foward to smashing with you!

lookingformeagain -thanks for the info on the caps lock i didn't realize it made the post hard to read(won't happen again);)

I'm on day 3 of the fsd it's not going bad at all (I'm surprised )I did weigh myself yesterday morning ,was shocked I'm 161.2 when i weighed myself last week i was 162 so i felt good starting off with a less number plus monthly ugly is here so I'm happy so far.My husband and i walked last night did all most 4 miles I 'm going to go to curves today after work!!!!:carrot::carrot:

I do have a question for you all if you can help me:?:

I know you can't drink on this phase but I 'm going to the bar tonight w/husband and friends.I 'm going to drink regardless so should i drink wine instead of my beer:?:

how is everyone else doing this week:?:

jellybellybean...we are supposed to drink at all on the FS diet so I am not sure if there is good answer to that one. Maybe wine might be better for you since beer (i have heard) is filled with carbs. But that is just my opinion.

Hi fellow smashers...i am going to vent this morning...feeling bummed. I officially ended my 9 days yesterday and I weighed myself this morning and i only lost 3lbs. I must say I am very bummed about that. I was hoping for at least a 5lb loss. In the past, when i have done the Detox I have always seen good results so I am not sure what happened. Oh well, I just have to pick myself and dust me off and keep on going. But I want the rest of you guys to keep on pushing through the diet does work. My friend lost 10 lbs when she was finished with the detox. Results varies for people. But I am not going to give up. I have to lose the weight. I just need to push myself harder...Happy Smashing ladies!

Nelle, a loss of 3lbs is better than a gain of 3lbs, any weight loss is a great day in my book. We all can't be the biggest loser and lose 10lbs a week.
I love hearing about any weight loss while on FS, it gives me hope.
I have had so much going on lately, that today is day 1 for me.
I planned each meal, and taking it one meal at a time.

Keep going girlfriend we can do this together.

nelle thanks for the advice:) I heard wine was better as well :)(I like both so wine won't hurt me):D wine does get me drunk faster lol.:dizzy: oh well I just want to relax and have a couple glasses :^:I will just jump right back on in the morning plus work out a little harder tomorrow:carrot::carrot:3 pds is great:carrot::carrot::carrot: just keep going it will come off ;)

I can't keep starting over every day, I will never get anywhere. So what if I had a few triscuts yesterday, I did great meal wise, so I am counting yesterday Day 1.
progress not perfection.
How did everybody else do?

hope all of you have a great weekend :carrot:I'm doing ok with the fsd however I have not been strict about it like i should be:mad: I find my self being hungry still after dinner:( I'm tired of fruit and veggies all ready but I'm going to keep going with it my 9 days end on tuesday so we will see.

I started FS on 7/9 - so last day of detox is friday. Which unfortunately is date night with the dh. So my mini goal for the week is to eat on program when I eat out (have 2 lunch dates too).
Any suggestions. I can go anywhere I want for the date. wooohooo.

Hi Everyone,
I'm back again. We're gonna start another phase 1 tomorrow, for at least 7 days. It's odd - we were trying to spoil ourselves before we hopped back on, and I realized I haven't eaten pasta or drank more than 1 or 2 cappuccinos since we started in March! I guess it really does help change your lifestyle. Haven't purchased another bag of white potatoes either. So, anyway, this is our third trip down phase 1. We stepped through the first 3 phases once already starting in March, then dipped into phase 1 in May. I need to "kick off" again, I'm stalled at right around 160.

The first time I did phase 1 I lost 8 pounds, and by the end of phase 3 had lost 15. I continued to exercise as much as I felt like :cool: and eat decent and was at one point down to about 23 pounds. So PLEASE don't give up, this thing really works!

I just really need a jumpstart to get to my next goal.

HuHot Mongolian! you can even go there and not cheat in phase 1! Just don't take the oily sauces. I've heard "middle eastern" restaurants too, but I don't think there are any around where I live...

Here's a link where I posted some quick reference sheets my sister had put together - it makes it so you don't have to keep thumbing through the book constantly. I made one addition on mine for p1 - 1 quaker rice cake per day is allowed.

I have been doing phase 1 for 12 days now, and I haven't lost a single ****ing pound. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I don't understand! I started at 180, I'm 5'10". I just weighed myself, and I'm still 180 exactly. I don't understand why I'm not losing weight! Maybe I should eat even less?
