Me personally when I was eating egg whites I didn't measure it out- since they are so little (1 egg white from an egg is 17 calories) in calories, I just put as much as I wanted. I have to admit I'm sure it was more than 3 TBSP! I would say if you need more to feel satisfied when you eat then put more- just make sure to not count it was one serving.

Not sure if I understand the question but if you are asking how much egg whites to add--I think that depends on how big of an omelet you want to eat and/or how many total calories you want to consume in the omelet. I try to ignore "servicing size" (except in calculating the amount of calories eaten) in determining how much food to eat. I noticed that I would just eat "1 serving" because that's what the label said even though I really didn't want that much.

That answer will vary for every one, as we're all different and all require different things.

When I make an omlet, I use 3 egg whites. Each egg white has appox. 3.5 grams of protein.

Maybe the container means that one portion, the 3 TBSPS is equivalent to one egg white. So if you want a 3 egg white omelet, you would use 9 TBSPs.
