Hi Brenda! After about 2 weeks in, I decided to combine the MUFA portion with South Beach. At my height, no way was I doing 1600 calories a day. (at least at that time, I wasn't exercising enough to do 1600 a day and lose any weight.) It's been working out GREAT. I am totally devoted to the MUFA concept (which is part of South Beach too, but they just don't emphasize it quite as much.) I bought the book and I'm glad I have it, but I dropped off of their website because it's so woefully inadequate.

This is my lifestyle change home now.

But I'll keep you company here if you are sticking with FBD!
