If you did Atkins correctly, you would be eating carbs. Too many don't even read the book and say they are doing Atkins. Get familiar with what it actually is before you criticize it. Same for South Beach. If you read the book, you would know you can substitute from the lists. I did the SBD and never ate what was on the menu in the book. WW has the Core program which requires no counting and is a lot like SBD. Since you went to WW, you should have the info for this in the Week One booklet.
If you think you aren't losing on fresh produce and little meat, you could be cutting too many calories and your body thinks famine is imminent.
