I'm checking in cause it's been a while for me - I'll have more on it later since I see my old forum is now being run by a bunch of newbies! Congrats on making the changes you need to reach your goals. I reached my goal and then surpassed it a couple of months ago with the help of SF for breakfast every day - that is the only way I used it - I calorie counted and worked out...and still do to this day. Life is lovely but I'm a busy bee! Check out my story below and hopefully it can help some of you - I actully need newer progress pics!

I'll check in shortly!

Hey gatoramanda!
Didn't mean to "steal" your forum here . I texted didjaever as she seemed to be the only one keeping this forum going. So I started it in October when I started with the Slimfast program.

I am SO happy to have started this program. It has taught me how to count CALORIES! AND not points. I lost ONE pound this week. For a menopausal woman this is a HUGE victory!!!!

Well, although I've been happy with the Slim-Fast products and learning to count calories, I'm going to have to leave the Slim-Fast products behind. I work in a retail grocery store and the prices are going UP UP and UP and I can't justify paying the prices for the products.

But I did learn about calorie counting and I'm happy and feel successful for that! So I will no longer be posting on this thread. Thank you all for your support and best wishes on your journey as well! We are all WINNERS!

Hi. I'm seriously considering Slim-fast. I don't have a lot of energy to cook, and, I think it would be convenient and healthy. Is anyone out there still doing this? I'm 36 years old and want to lose 40 pounds.
