Good Morning!

I did well last week and lost 2.5 lbs. woohoo!

Liz, I completely understand where you're coming from. I have been trying the Adkins thing for the past week, and it's working. I had gotten to where I couldn't lose on LAWL. I can maintain fine, but couldn't lose. I'm trying this to at least shock my body into losing again. Good luck to you...and stay with us on the challenge.

Anyway, I'm new on this site, I used to do the Atkins site, and loved it. I usually do well on Challeneges, so i'm very excited. I'll say that Saturday was my first day though, to be fair to myself!

Yesterday I didn't eat badly, I just snacked more than usual. I don't really eat that much anymore, and it's good for me. My body has more time to take care of itself, than be busy digesting food all day, but yesterday I snacked on sunflower seeds last night. Oh well, it's not hard for me to get back on track. But i really wanted to see 147 this morning.

I started this diet, or lifestyle change about 2 months ago at 166lbs. Is there anyone else out there in my weight range? If so, let's fit into a size 7 together!

Liz and Paula -I'm like you. I'm just sort of stuck at this weight for about the last 4 months or so. I decided to try calorie counting but using the principles of LAWL. We'll see how that goes for me. I did Adkins a long time ago but just couldn't keep it up. And I did South Beach for a time and lost on it but then after I lost the weight I got lazy and thought I could eat anything I wanted to. So now I'm sort of, kind of on LAWL. I am planning on sticking around on these boards though since I know everyone here. We will make it to goal. Just keep repeating it over and over. And also when you're tempted to eat something off plan, ask yourself how that would look plastered to your butt!!

I use to be on LAWL like 6 years ago and lost a wapping 68 lbs and then met my new hubby and gained it all back and then some. So now i am going back to the gym and working out again. I haven't weighed myself yet this week. I really haven't done that well and so I will be striving to do better this week. The school that I work at is taking most of the kids to see the Omaha Royals play at Rosenblatt (the home of the world series) and I hate baseball. So I will be sitting all day which will be killing me. Anyway I will bring with me lots of snacks of veggies. Anyway wish me luck

I'm hoping to be 158 by next Monday - my monthly goal is 10 pounds, that would put me at 157 by next Wednesday and that will be 29 lbs in 3 months! I have not really deviated from the plan (with the exception of drinks on the weekends!), nor have I had cravings - I am amazed at how the program has worked for me and very happy with the investment at this point! At this rate I will be thin for summer!!!

Ugh! I can't stay out of the freaking 170's. How frustrating. I am now at 170.4 still have lost 4 lbs since we started the challenge. But I have 11 left in a month. I really need to buckle down. The center keeps telling me to get some activity in and try doing TO again. I just really don't feel like doing any of those things. I am following the plan I just dont' want to chnage what I am doing at all. I wish I would could kick my self in the butt!

Ok I back down to 168.6 finally! It's sooo weird when I WI on Tuesday and Thursday I am always up from the Saturday WI. It's sooo weird. Anyway. I need to drink a bunch of water today I had a bit of sodium yesterday. Brocolli and chicken with a garlic sauce I am not sure the ingredients we went out to eat. They I asked for low sodium sauces and they said they could do no MSG so I said ok thats fine. Hope that was better then normal? Hopefully I am not way up on Tuesday! Ugh! 10 lbs to go!

Hey!

Cecelia - If I ate anything off-plan, or just too much, on the weekend it always shows up on my Tuesday WI. So, now I don't freak out about it, just drink lots of water and eat right and it's usually back to normal in a day or two.

Great loss, Rakuette!

I am down this morning too...176...woohoo! I might actually meet a challenge goal...I've never done that.

Yesterday I was at 158, but that darn pound came back in my sleep! I am on TO today and tomorrow, so I am still hoping to hit my goal... although I am prepared for an off week because I totally splurged on sugar free margaritas saturday nite and I think I ate a taco!!! Darnit! Oh, well... life goes on.

Please tell me where you find a sugar free margarita!!!

I go to doc to weigh in on May 7th...home scale is showing me pretty darm close to goal!! We'll have to see how far off it is from doc's scale. But I am getting close...I might have to up my goal a little bit!!!

I found it at a liquor store, I asked if they had sugar free margarita mix and the girl said "no, we only have Carb Conscious"... which is sugar free Silly girl...
