Hello,

I've been on LAWL almost a year, 11-28....did very well for a while but gained almost all it back. I have recommitted and am down approximately 4 lbs for the last 2 weeks. But, my question is how do you prepare sweet potatoes and how are counted? By the way I'm on the purple plan.

Welcome marro! Great job on the 4 lbs.

Personally I bake my sweet potatoes - half a small sweet potato counts as 1 starch.

I bake mine also, put some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray and a little cinnamon and a couple of small marshmellows. My COD said all you have to count is the starch for the potato, cinnamon and small marshmellows as condiments as long as you use only a few small marshmellows. If your on the numbered plans it says unlimited on the ICBINB spray.

I just cook them in the microwave unless I am using the oven to cook something else.
