I just ordered mine also, ($8.95 for shipping). I must have brain fog, because I use to buy them from HSN years ago. They also have bars that are excellent. I use alot of Andrew Lessman's vitamins. If you watch him on HSN, he is quite impressive. Thanks for the reminder!!

Well I tried out my first “coffee” Secure shake this morning. It was very sweet. It tasted a lot like the premixed cappuccino you get in a gas station that you usually have to mix w/ regular coffee to help balance out the sugar. It was also a little on the watery side like Kelkel said. Next time I’ll try mixing it with more crushed ice and maybe some coffee. I read on one of the reviews that mixing the coffee shake and chocolate shake make a good combination. I’ll have to give it a try. The container does way you can mix it w/ milk, fruit or yogurt to make a smoothie. I just didn’t want to “waste” anymore of my allotted food by doing that. Being I’m currently not officially doing the LAWL Lites, I’m just counting it as a starch because they’re only 70 calories. I’m not sure if it’s right or wrong, but that’s want I’m doing while I’m sampling these shakes. Tomorrow I’m tasting the chocolate shake so I’ll give another update then. If I do decide to do the Lites after I’m done nursing, I think I would probably order these because of the cost savings, but so far I like the taste and consistence of the LAWL Lite shakes better.

I totally agree with you. They aren't as thick therefore I like the LA shakes better but dang it they are just too much $$.

Today I put the secure in the smoothiemaker with frozen fruit and it was pretty good. I think it adds air to it and pumps it up or something lol. I like the chocolate a lot but I use it with milk then it uses up your milk exchange.

Kelly,
Sometimes I use 1/2 cup low fat vanilla yogurt to thicken up the shakes. Since yogurt is thicker than milk, I don't have to use up a full dairy.

Just FYI.... today is Tuesday, 10/16, and their website is acting up. The link provided above does not allow you to "Add to Cart." I had to call the company and get it done manually. But the Special is still on.

I got my Secure in the mail yesterday! I am so excited to try them. I'm not currently using the Lites. What should I count the shakes as in my plan?

Thanks Kelly and Michele for the information on them and the sampler pack. I really like the peanut butter Secure with 3/4 c. NF vanilla yogurt, one banana and 3/4 c. crushed ice in a blender - one scoop of Secure PB is much more diet friendly than 1T. reduced fat peanut butter!

I've tried the chocolate & the Pina Colada, but I must not be making them right because there not sweet and I just don't like the taste. I did mix both with Vanilla Yogurt so maybe I just don't like Vanilla Yogurt What is the simplest but yet best way to make the shakes? Do you just mix 1 scoop of whatever flavor with water or ice? Is it better to use a blender?

Justing bumping this up to go w/ Lynn's thread! There might be a few more ideas on how to use the shakes.
