St. Patrick's Day Challenge
Just thought I'd start a new thread for this one.
I'm targeting 10lbs by March 17th as someone suggested a while ago. I love doing these little challenges because it really helps to keep me feeling accountable for my choices. It's like the 3x per week visits to the COD...reporting my progress and watching my progress in a short period is motivating for me. |

Being that I'm doing the POP challenge, this one goes hand in hand... I'll wager 10 lbs!

I'm in. This will be my first challenge. Hopefully, it will help me stay on track, since I don't use a COD.

Can I play? I'm planning on accumulating all of my carbs for St. Paddy's Day so I can celebrate it the way it's meant to be celebrated...well, I'm sure I'll be eating/drinking up a few carbs next week when I go away for hockey. Anyway, count me in for the St. Paddy's Day challenge!

Count me in, too:) I would love to be able to say that I actually hit one of my goals on time for a change! I know it can be done!

I'll try it, yesterday was only my second day POP since the other challenge started...ugh. I am trying really hard to stick to it, maybe this will be a little more motivation.

Ok.. I finally got my frakkin' ticker to work.. :lol: I'm such a dork..
Anyway, we've got some catching up to do with Michael.. Way to go, man! Not sure how the weekend away will go, but I'm sure we'll be as good as we can be... |
Congrats on getting your ticker configured. Isn't is funny how you can just make the same mistake over and over and over, and then........all of a sudden.....bingo. LOL.

Yay! I'm really excited. I think not quite making my Valentine's goal is helping to make me want this one even more.
Michael -- Wow! You're a powerhouse, nice start! Dan -- Congrats on the ticker, I had the exact same problem with the Vday one, and FINALLY figures it out. :dizzy: My first WI since starting will be tomorrow...can't wait! |

Okay, I'm in. Have to go on at home BNWI's again because I haven't been to the COD since last Monday. I'm starting from where I left off on the Valentines' Challenge, so I'm already down 1 pound. Yay!

hey guys, i was told by my COD that is not good to weight myself everyday, i'm so use to it , is kindof hard to stop now!!!!!!!!! oh well, hope when i finish this mini chaallenge i'll be 10lbs lighter, i have my sis wedding in april and last time my relatives saw me i was almost 200 lbs, so i'm looking forward to this visit. jajajajajajaja!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so in. Since I didn't make my VDay challenge, I am determined to make this one. I also have my mini challenge too, so I will reach that one or both. We shall see. WAH HAA!!!

Yay! W/I at the COD this morning had me down 1.8. (phew!) I really want to make a good go of this challenge. More or less to prove to myself that I CAN do it.

I'd like to participate too. I have a question before I put up a ticker though...when did the challange start? Did it start on the 15th from the first post or the day I decide to start the challenge?
When I weighed in Friday the 16th I was down 3.4lbs...do I get to count that? Thanks, Shea |
Well, I was only down .5 lb this morning. Good news is that my 7-day business trip was postponed, so I have a much better chance at succeeding on this challenge now.

Weighed in at COD today and I am down 1.8 lbs! Thank goodness, as I haven't been feeling well, so I didn't know what to expect.

Blah! No change at WI today... but I guess it's better than gaining! Next WI is Friday... hope it goes better :)

Amazing Kim -- Sorry for the disappointing WI, I'm sure you'll be rewarded at the next one. I was down 2lbs today from Monday, so something is working. That puts me at .8 below my starting weight though, since I've been going steady with the same 2-3lbs for a week or more now. |

Hey LOSERS!!!
I did really good this week, after last day of TOM Friday I started FF on Monday, went to the COD yesterday and on their scale I was down 7lbs...woooo hoooo! Of course I know that is mostly water weight, and I will prolly be back up the next time I go in, but I was excited to see a new set of numbers on the scale...Go Nee Go Nee...It's ya BDay, It's ya BDay :cb: ...lol. So I just changed my normal ticker to the COD Scale and changed my St. Pattys ticker to what BN scale weight at home is. All in all I think I am on a role! Well at least I hope so. Good luck to everyone on the challenge!!! |

I just joined the message boards but I'd like to take part in this challenge. I've been on LAWL for 23 days now through their online service, but was on it a little over a year ago with great success. I've lost 7 lbs already and I can already feel it. I'm all in, I will be 10 lbs lighter by St. Paddy's Day!
