Erika - Congrats on the WI as well!!! I am back to the starting line for mine, even though I haven't moved my tickers. I am a very slow loser so I would be lucky to meet the challenge, but I am sure going to try. |

Down another 2lbs since Wednesday! I don't know what I did, but I hope I can keep it up. I'm on fire! :flame: Ok, now I need to calm down and get some work done so I can enjoy the next week... reading week starts after today!

Not sure I have any secrets to share, but you never know :)
A pretty typical day for me looks like this (gold plan w/ lites): Breaky- 1 poached egg (1/2 P), 1/4c Oatmeal (1/2 S) Snack- 1/2c unsweetened apple sauce (1Fr), LA lite Lunch- 1/2c Tofu (1 P), 1 1/2c veg, 1tbs oil (1 F) .... basically a stir-fry w/ peppers and onions and celery... and 4oz low cal Cranberry Juice (1 Fr) Snack- 12 Grapes (1 Fr), LA lite Dinner- 1/2c Pasta (about 1 1/2 S), 1/2c Tomatoes (1/2 V), 1c Spinach (1 V), 1/4c Cottage Cheese (1/2 P) Snack- 8oz Skim Milk (1 D) I'm not vegetarian, but I don't eat a lot of meat... when I do it's usually fish or chicken breast. And I drink at least 3L of water a day... keeps me from feeling snacky. In the evening I like to drink decaf tea because it seems to trick my stomache into believing it's a treat... I don't know, maybe thats just me... Seems to be working! Good luck with a POP weekend! |

Another slow week for me, I lost a big .5lb. I'm definitely the tortoise in this race. :) I'm doing a TO today and tomorrow. Maybe it will help motivate my metabolism.

Your not the tortoise Paula, I am now :( . I knew I was going to gain that weight back after FF....ugh. I am up 4lbs since Thursday, how sad. I have not been off Plan though so I am hoping it is temporary. Sad, sad, sad.

Nisha - I completely understand your frustration. I have yet to loose any big weight on TO, but here I am...trying it again. I bet your gain is temporary, you will be back down before you know it.

I hope so, the scale just seems to keep going up. Hope this is not because I have been working out, I think I build muscle quickly. Well at least I don't feel like crap...lol. Thanks for the encouragement! :)

Thanks to my big date with a bottle of Smirnoff on Friday the scale didn't move either way today... Could have been worse though, considering the massive hang-over I had the next day and the sad state of dehydration my body was in... you go to see one of your fav bands and things just get out of control!... oh well, won't be doing that again for a while... hoping for big numbers next WI (Wednesday)

Congratulations to all of you. The scale may not move a s quickly as we like but one thing for sure at least we work hard to make it work! Weighed in yesterday at lunch,and I am down 2 lbs....thank goodness. I can't wait to see the 100's... Hope you all have a wonderful day! |
Hey ya'll. Hope everyone is doing well today. I just finished a POP TO and I'm actually POP so far today. These challenges have really remotivated me. This morning the scale showed a 1.5lb loss, but I'll believe it when it sticks at weekly WI. :)

Finally down a tad bit more on the home scale. wooooo hoooo, but I still have 4.4lbs to go to beat the challenge. I can't see that happening, my body loses weight as slow as it possibly can...lol. Not sure why, but I can say I have no problem at all gaining it back.....lol. Well congrats to all you losers, and have a great day! :)

Well I am more than a bit late on this challenge but im going to join in anyway! I will get my ticker up in a few minutes and update mine. I started TO this morning so maybe that will help. The last time I did TO they had me do the unlimited and I dont think I ate enough and it wasnt a great TO and then I gained right after so that was really frustrating for me and so I did what I always did I stopped by for a little McDonalds therapy and back where I started. Well not really I have managed over th past 2 months to lose 5 lbs and keep it off even thought I have not been eating well. So today is a new day and Im going to the COD as well. Wish me luck! I going to go ahead and put the 10 lbs for the challenge but I realize that I will not make that! Glad to see that all of you are doing so well!! I will check in this afternoon and give you my new game plan.

Britt - I so completely understand where you are coming from. I have only lost 9 lbs in the last 9 weeks, which is driving me nuts. We just have to be consistent and keep on the plan, we will succeed!!

No change today.... I'll try to have an absolutely POP weekend and face the scale again on Monday... woohooo....

I haven't posted this week (on this thread), but I gotta hold myself accountable, so here goes... I was UP 1/4 lb. yesterday ( I weigh on Fridays). Ugh. I had a very busy and stressful work week and did not have time to exercise. That is key for me. So, I'm just about to go out for a walk/run now and get back on track. I have 4 lbs. to go to make challenge, and I think I can do it.

Stuck at 5lbs for the past week and and a half... getting annoyed!! So I'm doing a TO today and tomorrow and we'll see what happens. The lady at the COD (the only one I don't really like) suggested it, then looked really p****d when I told her there was no way I would pay $30 for the juice. I told her I would use canteloupe instead of juice and she looked like she was going to have a heart attack! Too bad though, my body, my money, my choice...
Anyway... at least I haven't gained and weight! and hopefully this damn TO thing will help... It's just so little food! Send good thoughts to my DBF as I'm sure he's going to feel the majority of my frustration... good thing he loves me! How is everyone else doing with the challenge? |
Well, I definitely not going to make this challenge, but I'm going to hang in there and keep trying. I was up 2lbs this morning at WI.
I'm so glad most everyone else is having success. Yeah you! Keep it up, I'm getting my inspiration from everyone on this site. ;) |

Just finished TO, still have not seen a big loss, I BN was still the same as a matter of fact, well I know I had hit a plateau. Maybe after TOM I will lose some more, I am right in the midst of that....ugh. I'll cross my fingers that by the end of the week I am down at least 4 lbs....

Yay! I hit my goal today! Didn't know if I was going to make it. Keep it up everyone, a lot can change in a matter of days. I'm definitely going to enjoy a LIGHT green beer on Saturday.
