Default Shrimp Scampi

Hey guys, I know I haven't been on in about a week or so. Haven't been doing that great at staying POP. But since yesterday I have been doing FF and so far lost 2.2 of the 3 lbs I had gained...ugh. Todya is last day of FF, and I can't wait to eat regular foods. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knew of a Shrimp Scampi recipe on plan?I am dying to have some shrimp today and just wondering if I can get some good ol Scampi. Let me know! Thanks!

Nisha - It's not scampi exactly, but look at the recipe I posted for broiled seafood w/lemon butter. So yummy w/shrimp. I did it last week.

Make it with garlic instead of lemon. That should do it . . .

Actually, you use 1T lemon juice and 1T light butter and then tons of garlic powder so the more garlic powder you use, the more "scampi"-like it is.

JM - Is there usually some lemon in scampi? I guess you could even cut the lemon down a little more, but I noticed that the lemon juice and butter melt together to form this saucy/juicy thing... oh, man, I need to go get a snack now.

You know-I didn't go up and check the recipe. I'm not sure if there is lemon is scampi-maybe. If I was going to do it I would saute real minced garlic with the lite butter or in ICBNB spray and then toss in the shrimp til it was hot-salt and pepper . . . and then serve it over shiritaki noodles maybe . . .

When I make dh shrimp scampi I make myself just shrimp with a little nusalt & pepper cooked in pam. Then I cook broccoli like I normally do, just boiling for a few min.. then I just add the broccoli to the shrimp and when I put it on my plate I drizzle 1TB lite soy sauce over all of it and It is sooo yummy. I am drooling thinking of that. I eat broccoli almost everynight but not like that :P

I'm sure a tablespoon of white wine would just be a condiment and it would taste yummy!
