Thanks. I think this was what I needed to jump start myself. Short, but sweet. I'm not a fan of a 6 week, or even a 21 day challenge!

Kim - Stalling sucks. At least NYC is a pleasure trip, right? I'm sure you'll do a LOT of walking if nothing else.

Yeah, we'll be walking, and, since it is going to be "the coldest weekend of the winter" to quote the weatherman, hopefully I will burn a few more cals just trying to stay warm!

Kim - My daughter and I went to NYC two years ago for a gymnastics meet. It was 5. 5?!?!?! I am used to a "7" in front of that this time of year! Anyhoo, one of the first things we did after we checked into the hotel was to buy scarves. She wanted to go down to the Today show, but when I woke her up and told her it was 5 degrees, she said, "Um, no!"

Cassi.........you crack me up. I grew up with cold winters, so I thought I was pretty tough. Well, after being in St. Louis for almost 3 years........I FREEZE when I go home to Wisconsin. It has been a cold winter here this year, but still........there is a big difference once the temps drop down below freezing. It's just not good. You must have just froze being used to warm weather!!!

You have no idea! The poor housekeepers must have thought we were crazy. We kept the heat on so high in that hotel room! And of course the sheets, blankets, comforter, duvet. You name it, we piled it on.

We're getting a cold front in. It's already down to 57 and it's getting down in the 40s tonight. BBBBrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Can you say hot cholate for my LA Lite tomorrow?

I opted NOT to finish the challenge with TO as I want to reserve that for when I'm truely on a plateau. So my challenge results from 1/8-1/22 was a 5.0 lb loss. I'm thrilled considering I hadn't lost a lb. (and had been POP) since 12/15.

Good luck finishing up all!

That's ok, Nancy. I'll stay here in the 40's. With lots of sweaters and blankies.

OK, well instead of finishing the challenge with TO, I chose TU (throwing up). Because of that, I'm not doing TO today, didn't think it was a good idea. I'll calculate my final results and be back...

OK, 4.2 pounds since the start of this thing....

COD WI may be less due to yesterday, but I figure that will be temporary. I don't know how bullemics do it. It's been years since I've been sick like that. Gross.

I'm hoping for the sake of all at COD that the scale will move tomorrow.. I'm tired of these wee losses.. I need a good lb drop at minimum!
I didn't do TO as I had a full day yesterday and night school but instead had my main meal for lunch both days.. love the Kashi for dinner!
Kim you're almost halfway through the loss and Cassi is kickin butt.. literally please kick some weight off of mine!
Nicole kick the family out so we can have back!!

Hi girls!!!!!!
My mom and sis left just a bit ago. I love it when they are here...but it is always nice to have normalcy return!!! Is that a word? Normalcy??? It just looks wrong. Ok, so according to my BNHSWI, I am down 5.4 lbs from this challenge. Thank you all so much for giving me a reason to work hard. Having my sis here, and just starting the program, has really helped me. I have been POP for 4 days.........and that hasn't happened in a long long time. I feel like I am on a roll now......and my scale is happy......COD as well as HS. So anyway......I sooo have to go chill out on my couch and watch T.V. now. I am so sorry you are sick, Kim. I think one of my greatest fears is throwing up. I feel so panicked when I get sick like that. I hope you are feeling better. I am going to try to catch up on the losers thread (reading) and then get to my couch. I think it misses me And, a big hello to Cassi, Kristen, Lea Ann, Rhonda...........all of you. I have soo missed you!!!!
XOXO
