Tip #9 - Split Your Workouts
Instead of walking or jogging for 40 minutes, try breaking your workout into two 20 minute sessions. You'l lburn just as many calories while you are exercising, but this way you'll get two bouts of the after-burn effect. Each time you exercise, you get a post exercise calorie burning boost during the hour following the workout. Which means you'll burn more calories during the day than if you did all your exercise in one longer session.
