Default Saturday 7/15

Good Morning everyone! It is HOT, HOT, HOT here! On top of the heat, it is very humid! YUCK! I hate humidity!

Not much on the agenda today. Gonna do some cleaning, some laundry. I will probably head out to the mall with the kids late this afternoon. Hubby works all day and then has to go to a friends stag tonight, so the kids and I are on our own for the duration. Maybe we will hit a movie?? I don't know...

Food yesterday was TERRIBLE! What the heck is wrong with me? When will I ever get my act together? I don't know, but I do know I am NOT giving up! I am still hoping for some serious weight release by Sept 15 - which is exactly two months from today! Lets get our act together ladies!!!

Don't forget to push your water!

I just counted last night and realized 8 wks before our vacation on Sept. 15......Wow if I could lose 2 lbs. a week, I would be thrilled. I am really going to look at my eating pattern and see how I can leave out a few more calories. I am doing exercise, walked 7 miles this week with 2 more today, that is not too shabby and a lot more that I have EVER done.

But Sharon I usually have at least 1 or 2 bad days a week and I know that is what is keeping me STS or just losing 1 lb. I have given up wine for 21 days on day 10 now and that hasn't seemed to do anything but I didn't have that everyday either. I know I snack too much in the afternoons.

Anyway I am making improvements and surely one day it will show up!!

Everyone have a nice weekend.

Oh my goodness! What a week! Working full time sure is an adjustment. I treasure every minute I spend with my kids in the evening, and then pass out as soon as they are asleep!

The job is wonderful. The girls I work with couldn't be more perfect for me if I had handpicked them. They all have the same weird sense of humor I do, and love laughing and joking around. I fit in so well. And I have learned the job faster than I had hoped. Everyone was telling me how great I am doing.

I'm planning on moving into an apartment in a month. I've decided to move to the town my parent's live in, so they can be there with the kids. It's 45 minutes from work, and that much further from Ed. I haven't told him yet. He is going to go ballistic. I'm afraid to tell him, but I know I have to do what's best for me and the kids, and this will take a huge amount of stress off.

My 15th wedding anniversary was Thursday. Very hard day. Ed wanted to have dinner with me, so I did, and it was okay. Then I went home and drank an entire bottle of wine. So I guess I'm starting my personal challenge again!!

I tried to catch up on all the posts, good to see you back, Susan. Phyllis, you are going on vacation soon? I'm sure you will meet the 20 pound challenge!

You are all so great. You have helped me in so many ways. I'm so tired, but I know that my body will adjust. I'm going to keep up with you as much as possible, but it may be limited to the weekends for a while.

Take care everyone. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Good to hear from you Marcie and so happy the job is going well and you like it. That's great.

Sounds like you and soon to be ex hubby are at least civil with each other, that will be good for the children. You will need your parents help being a single mom so you do what you have to do. Use that 45 min. drive for your quiet time....plan your day. Listen to a book or music....and check in here whenever you have time....we'll be here.

We are going on a vacation Sept. 14 for a couple weeks. Going to Michigan with stops in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio to visit the kids and friends. Can't wait....hey I'm doing good on the wine...10 days now.....you have to catch up!

Good luck....Phyllis
