Tammy, Donna, Anita, Lynn -- glad to see you all back and posting! I missed you!

It's freezing cold in my office today -- do I burn more calories by trying to get warm? I'm ready to go to lunch where it's warm outside. Except I want Mexican today and I don't want the nice low-calorie, low-fat stuff either!

I am ready to fall asleep - it's so quiet here today. Everyone is traveling and our department manager is on vacation in Hawaii -- tough job!

Is there such a thing as low calorie, low fat Mexican food??!!
I had a hard time getting here this morning too. It kept saying it couldn't find the website.
Tammy ~ I think the outline of what you posted is good.
I also suggested to Tammy that we break it up into 3- 4wk challenges, and taking it up a notch every 4 wks. Like adding more exercise and duration, things like.

My office is freezing today too Susan! But I figure its better to have too much AC rather than no AC!

Phyllis - ooohhhh! Shopping!!!! My FAVORITE past time!! hehe! Enjoy!

Cathy & Tammy - I'm looking forward to reading the challenge rules! I am SOOO ready for this!!

So, I did very well yesterday. I ended up with 1,300 cal, which was about 100 more than I wanted. But I figured it was a pretty good start. According to the Jillian Michaels book, I should be eating 30% protien, 30% fat and 40% carbs for each meal/day. I am still adjusting to this, but it sounds reasonable. I did 30 min on the treadmill, burned 220 cal, walked 1.3 miles. Not too bad for a beginner. I have every intention of getting on there again tonight.

It is so exciting to come here and see some much activity! It will really help to keep me focused this summer!! Now don't go abandoning me ladies!!!

Don't forget your water!!

Hi Ladies,

It is nice to be back and see you all here!

Yesterday was a good day for me. I ate well and exercised. One day at a time! Today is so far so good! I plan to do my cardio and weights this afternoon.

I am looking forward to the challenge as well...It will be great if we all stick to it. Imagine how happy we will be in September! We can do it!

I think I will rewrite my goals and keep them readily accessable. I think writing the goals down really helps to keep me focused!

Have a great one!

Yesterday was the worst day (and night) so far with the dental work. Therefore, it was a good diet day.

Today, I'm taking my little sister (Luzivon) to the hospital to talk with the doctor about her surgery (only 13 & has cysts on her ovaries!).

Tomorrow is scrapping
We have a class scheduled & are going to learn how to make really beautiful flowers.

My surgery is scheduled for 8/15. I have tickets for Lion King in Philly for 8/2. I hope that Luz's surgery will be scheduled so we don't have to miss the play. to us.

Hope we all have a happy & healthy day,

Lynn
