thanks for letting me know i can ask y'all things this isn't going to be easy and it will take a long time but...i didn't just wake up one morning with and extra 50 lbs on!
I'm here. I never really go away - just take breaks when I'm teaching. Despite my best intentions, I can't seem to do my online courses and post here at the same time.
I decided to register so I could tell you I have been here reading posts. I'm on my first real week (tried it for a few days before). I lost 20 pounds without following any set plan (just watching what I ate and excercising) but have plateaued. I'm looking foward to getting my weight loss back in motion with Jorge Cruise.
I'm back, too. This was a good idea, having everyone still here say a hello. I'm going to do my part to get this back up and running. And kick some butt if I have to ! hehe.
Okay, well I'll start with good news. I finally broke my 6 weeks plateau with a 2 pound weight loss this morning! I have been overweight since childhood and I can't even remember when I weighed under 200 pounds (it was early high school or even junior high). Since meeting my husband I gained about 50lbs. He loved to eat out and even order desert. Unfortunately it became one of our very common activities together and we gained weight together. I have had enough of being so unhealthy! We want to start trying to have a family soon and I refuse to let my weight hurt my pregnancy and future child. I'm very motivated and looking foward to being active in this community.
I'm around - lurking Its been HOT! and I'm preggers = grumpy. Shouldn't tho - Tammy, hope everything is okay on your side of the country! And everyone else dealing with the flooding.
Good luck everyone with the challenge! I love to see the progress! Hopefully keep me motivated to keep in line and not have to start all over when this baby is born

Donna! Glad to hear from you! I hope you are doing well. You know your husband never did cash those checks from the challenge we did a LONG time ago on the Jorge Cruise boards. I'll bet he still has them in his truck.
Have you or Marcie or Tammy ever heard from Samantha? I think about her and wonder how she's doing.
