Question on Weight loss

  • Hi Again...I know were suppose to lose an average of 2 pounds a week, right? When everyone started to cruise what did you lose the first few weeks, more, less? I'm just curious, a 2 pound per week would be awesome.
    Today was my first day, I think i did rather well.
    Something VERY strange happend today, I always weigh myself in the morning, then BEFORE bed, just a habbit i guess. I normally GAIN 2 to 2 1/2 pound before bedtime. But today, it reversed, I lost 2 1/2 pounds...I know it cant be real, so I'll see in the morning. I feel like I'm sloshing I have drank so much water today..

  • Hi, I lost 12 lbs. in first 2 weeks on Atkins and have lost about 2 lbs. a week for most weeks thereafter. Good luck on your weight loss journey. I did hit a couple 3-4 week stalls along the way. Wishing you the best.
  • I lost about 3-5 pounds a week for the first month and then about 2 pounds a week after that. I've also had 2-3 week stalls in there. But as long as you keep up the healthy eating and exercise it will continue to come off.
  • First 24 Hours...OMG
    This is my first 24 hours. I have to say that this FIRST 24 hours went well, WOW.
    I did have a weight loss ( I know this is premature and probably isn't TRUE), and also a 1 inch loss around my stomach. I dont know if the loss will continue, will see. I am following the Cruise directions to the T. I even drank my water (today too) as soon as I got up. I'm thinking this will REALLY work. I have a disability and havent excercised, but maybe after I get about 20 pounds off I will not hurt as bad. I drank SO much water yesterday I felt I would float away. Its hard on the timing right now, and I am writing down everything that goes past my lips.

  • I lost 4 punds in my first week and then it was pretty much 2 pounds a week till I reached -20 pound mark. After that I was in a plateau for a long time. My total goal was 40 pounds. What I did was breaking up my goal to 2 phases. That made the trip a whole lot easier. I gave up membership at JC site last month and decided on joing this forum for support...I'm starting my 2nd phase on reaching the remaining -20lb goal. Hope to talk with everyone more!!
