Default Was anyone else starving when they first started JC?

I know in the book that people were saying they were never hungry and even JC said you shouldn't be hungry. I found it amazing that people had to set their watch alarms to go off every 3 hours to remind them to eat! I had no problems remembering to eat. In fact when I was not doing anything particularly active I'd be watching the clock just waiting for that 3 hour mark to come along. I'm guessing it was because I used to be an all day snacker. It's getting a little bit better now as I progress but I make sure to have an abundance of freebies on hand just in case.

Yes, after two hours, I was starving (and still to this day at times)!!! LOL, but I started drinking water or doing whatever I could to hang in there through that last hour!!!

If you are really getting hungry to where your stomach is growling or upset or you get nauseous, then you are not eating enough at your meals.

If you think you are hungry, drink a couple of glasses of water and wait 20 minutes. If you still feel hungry, then you probably are.

Something that really helps me is eating a form of protein as my snack. Like a cheese stick, or cottage cheese, it take longer to digest and helps me stay fuller longer...

Yes, the roughest part is getting through the first week but it does get easier. Your system just has to get adjusted to this new way of life. When you star feeling those hunger pains, that is a great time to fill up on some water and/or get out and get active to occupy your mind and change the way your mind things! Good luck to you and remember it does get easier!
