Default Tuesday

Good Morning, Everyone,

I'm planning a scrapping day today. A local church is holding this event & one of the women in my condo is going with me.

We're ordering lunch - and there's a Wendy's across the street. I'm going on DWLZ and planning my lunch.

How does everyone like the ODAAT (one day at a time) plan? I LOVE it. It's about what I can handle. Laurie, I think you made up another new diet for us. Yeah, Laurie

Catch you later,

Lynn

Good morning Lynn! Yep the only way I can be successful is take one day at a time. Why worry about something you can't control like what MIGHT happen in the next few days! You CAN handle what put in front of you right now so just worry about that!!

Well today is going to be a busy day, got to take Steven to school, then drop Keilyn off at school then come back here do some cleaning, then pick Keilyn up from school then meet some friends at the park then pick Steven up from school then meet my oldest brother back here for him to bring me an entertainment stand. So we will be busy.

I know its only Tuesday but how is everyone doing on the challenge? Everyone have any comments, questions or concerns???

Hope everyone has a great day!

I am having an awesome week! The scale said I was down another .5 lb today - thats 2 lbs since Sunday!!!! I wish I was able to stay OP for the rest of the week, because it could be a great week for me. Oh well, at least I know I can jump right back OP on Saturday when we return! Pushing the water really does work for me ladies; remember to get yours in!

Today will be a busy day at work. Of course I am trying to do 4 days worth of work in 2 days..... I brought a yogurt for snack and I wil run out at lunch time to pick up a sandwich or salad. Thats the plan anyways.

Lynn - happy scrapping! I know how much you enjoy that.
Laurie - remember to drink your water while running here and there. Hope you get LOTS accomplished!!

TTFN- Sharon

Two questions Lynn, are you on the WW CORE program?? A friend of mine lost 57 lbs. on it...he loves it, I am thinking of joining on line. And What is DWLZ???

I am going to go watch and learn a new kind of MahJong with some lady friends this afternoon. Should be good fun even if I don't learn a thing, really good gossip at these little events. I will leave before the food is brought out!!!

Didn't do the grocery shopping yesterday so that means I really should go today!!! YUCK....I just hate grocery shopping.

Going to do my 1 mile walking DVD today as it actually looks like rain here, we need it badly.

Hope no one had any problems with all the storms up there.....

So far, so good! I am quite pleased with myself yesterday on my first challenge day. I feel back in control again, and this challenge is helping me focus again. Walking those stairs up and down every hour is great. It's increasing my daily steps quickly. It may be cold outside and raining/snowing, but I can still walk those stairs. I love the idea to think about it one day at a time. I will think about it that way as well from now on. Forget about weekend dinners or special events out of my control for now! Only thinking about today and making good healthy choices now!

No - I'm NOT on the CORE program (low carbs). I'm on something new - Structured plan - they tell you your meals for every day & you eat them. If you want, you can mix this with the points plan.

DWLZ = Dottie's Weight Loss Zone - it's a website. NOTE: They may decide to delete but here goes - dwlz.com

It's the most wonderful site in the world for eating at chain restaurants. She breaks down all the menu items by nutritional elements & then, gives you the WW points for each item. This way, if you know where you're going, you can select your menu before you get there & get the perfect number of points.

OK, so I shouldn't tell you that it's 75, sunny and gorgeous here??? I had to turn the A/C on while I was in the car wash because it was getting too hot with the windows rolled up.

I have to do a furniture project at our Gaithersburg, MD office this weekend. Since my DH's family is there, he's flying out with me. We leave Thursday morning and are coming back Monday night. We are in the air almost all day on Thursday. Crab cakes -- here I come!

John went to the doctor today for the follow up for his hernia surgery. The doc said it was pretty much healed and he was OK to resume normal activities. He's just not supposed to lift anything over 30 lbs for the next couple of months. He had the dissolvable stitches so nothing to remove.
