Talking It's Thursday!!!!

Boy this week is flying by and I've accomplished very little now that I am retired!!! Going thru all the stuff we brought home for our business and trying to find places for all of it!

So far this has just been an awsome OP week for me and I feel so much better. We ARE NOT EATING OUT this week. I am just keeping the meals simple as that seems to work best for me and I lose the most weight that way.

It was so great yesterday to see some of the lovely faces of some of the members that haven't been active. Where are you Laurie, Terri, Dani, Dasiy, Melissia (I'm sorry I can't remember all the names).....we have a new challenge coming up......we need you back to join us.

Hi Phyllis and everyone,

Eating out is a tough one!! It really does make it harder to lose weight. Unless you eat a chicken salad with either lite dressing or balsamic vinagret! Maybe just try to order that or just go out 1 time a week?! At least until you reach your goals.

I am on track...I changed my workout schedule as I am doing the Body for Life now. Mostly the food fits in with this plan but I want to do it for the exercise part. You do 1 day upper body workout, 1 day intense cardio for 20 min, 1 day lower body, 1 day intense cardio and so on... 1 day a week is off day. The 20 min cardio sounds too little to me but it is supposed to be at a really intense level for those 20 min so I guess it makes up for it. I do tend to add more cardio at less intensity, though.

Anyway....Maybe a little to much on my workout. Otherwise...I am eating on plan!!!!

Have a great day!!

Phyllis, just relax for a week before you jump in and get everything organized...at least that is what I would do, just enjoy not working and not going to the office...I can't wait...I still have like 13 years to go before I can even think of retiring...(by service not age...) HAVE FUN!!!

Are cheese sandwiches low cal and fat free? That seems to be about all I can eat right now. I have been eating WAY too much cheese - but it's so yummy! LOL! I am feeling really good today other than being a little tired but I'm actually getting some stuff done around the house. YAY! I got tired of climbing over laundry piles
Phyllis - enjoy retiement! It's time to make it all about you! Take care of that hip!
Anita - you inspire me! Keep going girl
Vicki - How are you doing? Thinkin about ya

Anita, no that's not too much info about you exercise program. It would kill me but I am sure a lot of the women are interested. I am so very proud of you.

How did Karen ever do? She was close to goal too?

Donna, I think cheese is probably very good for you and baby!!!!! Keep posting and updated.
