Default How's everyone doing?

Good morning ladies!

How is everybody doing this week? I'm doing good! I've eaten well for the last 2 days, so I'm getting back into a nice routine!

I'm tired lately. I need a girls night out! There's a good movie coming out this weekend. Failure to launch! I hope my friends will be available to come with me! Maybe, I can even go by myself if nobody can come. Treat myself to a good movie for stepping right back on the wagon!

I am doing good so far. Freezing cold though -- we had snow yesterday. I got to have a fire in the fireplace when I went to bed last night. We bought our house for the fireplace in the master bedroom. It's very nice and cozy. The kitties like it too.

We don't have any major plans for the weekend. I'm thinking a lazy Saturday is in order because my last ones have been so crazy. Next Sunday is my 2-year anniversary of my 2nd wedding ceremony, so we are going to a fondue place on Saturday night for dinner. I can't have the cheese fondue so that won't be a problem for me.

Doing fine so far. Planning a dinner cruise for this weekend. A small getaway from the kids and from the city. Will eat whatever I want to and not worry about WI. I did lose a couple of lbs. this week but it was from a partial fast. I decided to not record it, and wait until I get back on track next week.

There are times when we can allow ourselves a bit more. We shouldn't feel deprived. Just get right back to it after and enjoy your weekend! Life isn't about depriving ourselfves, it's about fun!

I'm on Day 2 of Atkins. I messed up last night and grabbed a soda- something I NEVER do. I drank half of it before I realized what I had done!

I have had better weeks and I have had worse...I don't know what is up with me, I had 1 sleeve of crackers (basic saltines) last night before bed I was sooo hungry! Tonight too I ate dinner but I am still hungry! It must be that Tom is right around the weekend...but I am just not satisfied with my food! I miss sweets so much, but still my tongue is messed up from my medicine last month. Sweets taste sickening. and it isn't just candy, its some breads, fruits, it is amazing how much stuff has a sweetness to it! I haven't had a soda for a month and I miss it!!! I really feel for you Susan, it must be absolutely awful for you with your gluten problem...in fact I was thinking this shouldn't be so bad just try to tell myself I am alergic to sweets! But I guess I am addicted!!!

Sorry to vent, I hope you all didn't get too bored with my post!

Thanks for listening!

Vicki, you are always welcome to vent to us -- that's what we are here for. I had such awful symptoms and felt so terrible before being diagnosed that it's worth being on a gluten-free diet to feel so much better. I can live without bread to not have to sit in a chair to blow dry my hair.

Lafayette - was it diet soda? I have to admit on Atkins I drank diet Coke still and continued to lose weight.
