Friday Weight In

  • Good morning everyone

    Well, I have decided to change my weight in from Sunday to Friday instead. I much prefer that. I drink my water during the week since I'm in the office, and on weekends, I just don't think about it. So by Sunday, I may not have as much water. And also to help prevent binging, I've decided to let myself have a small portion of chips once a week! I'm going to see if it works for me! The best thing to do is try things, and if they don't work, go back and try something else.

    Last week, I had gained 4 pounds. Today, I have lost 3 of those pounds. It's time to get serious and get under my original JC goal of 150. I met my goal last summer, but have been going up and down those same 5 pounds for a while now. So it's now time to meet it one last time, and work towards my final goal of 130. I was going to write "I can do this!", but no, I will write instead "I will do this!".

    Keep in mind that if you don't drink your water on weekends, that's still going to reflect in your Friday weigh-in. WW used to say not to go off plan on the day after a weigh-in because it would still count for the following week.

    Try the small portion of chips and buy one small bag at a time in the checkout at the grocery. I used to do that when I could control it -- but now I can't eat them so I don't worry about it.

    You can do it too -- can simply means you are physically able to do it. And I have faith you will do it as well.

    I'm going back to the gym in 30 minutes. I have my clothes here and I'm going to give it a try. The cold seems to be gone.
