Exclamation Sunday ~~Weigh In~~

Good morning Ladies! I am down one more to a 10 lb loss. YAY! I am pretty psyched about it. My first mini-goal gets a big "DONE" stamp on it and I move on to number two: Down to 190 by St. Patty's.That will be a challenge for me as it is a little more than 1 lba week... so we shall see.

Share your successes and set backs - these things will happen!

Good Morning, Daisy & Everyone,

Well, I'm down 4 lbs, but not a good loss. It will surely come back as soon as I can eat anything other than graham crackers and milk.

Still snowing here. Our aid can't get here. Donald had breakfast & is napping. As soon as he wakes up, maybe I'll try to move him with our new nifty electric lift. I haven't done it alone yet, but I think I can. Or, maybe I'll try to get him to stay in bed today.

Tomorrow is the end of week 4 of my 6-week course. Then, I don't teach again until my birthday - April 11. I love teaching this course, but I like having a month between courses. Gives me time to want to do it again.

Check back later.

Lynn

Well I am down 2 of the three that I gained last week but still 1 lb away from where I was. I really did bad this past week so I am thinking that 3lb gain the other week was pure water or something. TOM KILLS me and now that it about gone I can hopefully do much better!

Hi Laurie,

Glad TOM is gone. I saw an ad on TV for some kind of pill that keeps TOM away. If you take this pill, TOM visits only 4 times/year. Did you see it? Next time I see it, I'll get the name.

I think that's Seasonale or something like that. There are other brands of BC that you can use the same way... I'm looking into it!

Congrats to everyone on their losses!

I have been fending off a cold so I'm a little concerned about WI tomorrow. Dinner Friday was fabulous and, yes, I ate the whole steak but I didn't eat anything else and I had an apple, two pears and a small salad with vinaigrette for the whole day before I took on the beef feast... not the heathiest food journal entry but I didn't want to blow it completely!

Laurie I feel your pain! I am up 2# this week! UGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH I ended up going to that dinner party last night...ate really well...but WAY too much wine ( I wasn't driving) So I think that I am dehydrated...I feel crummy and to make matters worse we are covered in 15 inches of snow! No more wild nights for me for a while....I may try to drink a ton of water and re-weigh mid week to keep my spirits up. I had a lot of fun but I am not sure if it was worth 2# and a headache! All I am craving this am is carbs and grease...but I am sticking to it! What would really cure me would be....... but....I will resist and drink and eat as OP as i can.

Well my GYN wants me to try skip the white section/sugar pills the next few months and only take them every 4 months so I will only have a period every 4 months because of the PMDD and migraines get so bad so we will see how that helps!

Congrats Lynn, Anita, and Laurie! Weigh to go!!!

Allie - been there, done that. Gentle for you today. Tomorow, get right back into it and FIGHT!

I am down 2 lbs for the week. It was real nice to see 177 mid week, but that was 100% due to the stomach bug. I was very happy to see 179 this morning. So I am officially back to where I was 1 week into this!

I did lots of shoveling today, so hopefully I burned enough calories to counteract the lasagna I made for dinner. Had a salad with it and it was wonderful. Could have eaten more, didn't go overboard, so I am happy with that. I hope to have a really good week coming up. I don't why, but I just feel it!

Good morning everyone!

Well, this week, I stayed the same. Although I know it's good to maintain, it's still disappointing. I think this is why I binged last night. I had chips and chocolates. I know, I know! 10 successful days of recommitment gone bad! I'm so frustrated at myself for allowing this. Back to Day 1 of recommitment again.

Congratulations Daisy, Anita, Lynn and Sharon! I hope you're feeling better, Lynn and Sharon.

Laurie, I know what you mean about TOM -- talk about a sabotager!!! I seem to pick up 5lb every time (and only drop 4 of them... grrrr). I *know* it's going to happen but it unsettles me every time (and I really think it's one reason I generally tend to end up throwing in the towel). It's sooooooo discouraging...

In any event, my official weigh-ins are Fridays, so I still have a few days to go. Last week's WI was down 2.25, (bringing my grand total since Jan 15 to 8.25 ), so I was pretty pleased!

Of course, I tend to rollercoast (up, down, up, down...), so I wouldn't be surprised if I go up a bit this Friday. I keep trying to remind myself that as long as the overall trend is down, everything's ok. Right?

And Flemay, don't beat yourself up over a few chips and chocolate. You won't do that *every* day, right? So, congratulate yourself on 10 days and get right back with it!

One day does not a diet make or break. Just keep going - and don't think of it as day one all over again... Dont' throw the baby out with the bathwater. One mistake does NOT erase your previous efforts - quit beating yourself up!
