Default Tuesday......

Well, it is the last day of January. How is everyone doing? I did not reach my goal for the month, but I have not stopped trying, so I think I am doing okay!

Today is rather damp and dreary here. I don't have a whole lot of ambition, although I am still managing to get a load of laundry done and the dishwasher run as well as download my latest pictures to an ordering sight. All this before we head out the door at 8:50 AM. Not to shabby!

I have to drop Robert off to some training for work, then I head to the office for about 4 or 5 hours. Tonight Bobby has basketball practice, Michelle has dance (as usual....) That's it for me today. What about you guys?

Good Luck wishes to Steven, get well wishes to Donald and "Hang in there wishes" to everyone else!!

Dreary and Blah here today! And I too am dreary and Blah! Didn't sleep well...
Anyway no real plans for the day. Got most of my errands done yesterday while DS was at preschool. He is home today and miserable...it must be contageous.
We are going to a friends house for lasagne tonight...I will try to load up on the salad and just have a small piece! I really do not even feel like going...
I have multiple baskets of laundry in various states that need to be folded and put away...YUK (I hate laundry and it seems to multiply and never end!)
On a positive note...It is unseasonably warm here in the mid-atlantic...I actually have my windows open in the hopes that some fresh air will perk us up! I cannot believe it 60's in january/February!
Everyone have a great day! I will check in later!

Thumbs up

I am excited today.....I actually made my Jan. goal of losing 6 lbs.

Been playing around with the last pound so it is down today and I will take it since it has been at 187 3 times last week and today so I believe it is finally gone!

Well it is bright and sunny here today, temp in the low 70's. This is just a beautiful time of year here in Florida.

We are having friends over to watch the superbowl Sunday and I am trying to plan a menu that won't kill my diet. I am going to make the one jello pudding and angel cake dessert that I think Melissia made with the mixed frozen berries......very low calories. I won't drink so that will save some but I think my dh wants me to make Cinni chili with hot dogs........hmmmm that will be the hard part.

Finishing up my laundry and going to see my GI dr. today and hopefully find out what happened with my stomach last week. Got my 30 min. exercise in yesterday and will go again on Weds. and Friday.

Yes, Laurie I will send good vibes for your son....hope he does well.

Laundry Laundry! I'll send you a pix of the pile I have on the couch to be folded and the pile still left in the laundry room I have to do today! It'll make ya feel better! Allie it does multiply! How else can the same shirt end up in there multiple times in 1 day to be washed!
Way to go Phyllis! meeting you Jan. goal!! That's awesome! Good luck at the Dr. Hope all goes well.
Sharon-you are doing great! Keep going girl!
Prayers to Lynn and Donald! Sending good vibes to Steven! Good luck buddy!!
I am leaving at o" dark 30 in the morning for Mexico!
I am SO busy today getting ready to leave the kids for a week! Costco and luggage and cleaning and bank and and and and! I am so tired so hopefully I can get thru this day without being too crabby! I was laying in bed last night about 11 reading, and my phone rang. It's one of my girlfriends. Her and 2 friends had gone to Shari's resteraunt for coffee and visit and weren't ready to go home yet and were wondering if I was still up and wanted company for a bit. Til 1:30am! It was fun but. . . . . .draggin' butt! Oh well, I can sleep for the next week right?!
I'll miss ya'll - and send "wish you were here" vibes! Talk to ya'll next week. I don't know if I'll be able to get back on here before I go.
MEXICO here I come!
Have a beautiful day all!

Happy today!

This is my first day back to work after the vacation and it's going well. The weather is gorgeous and I would rather be outside but I'll manage.

I am at mid-post-vacation laundry status. One load in the washer this morning and one more to go and I'll be done. Then, it's back to the daily grind.

I giggle every time I see that vacation commercial about how "it's time to let the cats fend for themselves". We don't even have plants and somehow the house was totalled when we got in. It could have been the explosion of luggage that barely made it in the door before I collapsed.

I'll weigh in tomorrow morning to see how bad the damage is. Fingers crossed...

I love that commercial with letting the cat fend for itself too. I'm wondering if I can just do that at home all the time rather than feeding them every morning. That canned cat food is just nasty. Oh well, at least I don't have to clean it up out the other end - that's John's job!!

I had to spend time last night arguing with DirecTV about my satellite installation. They wanted to set it up next week because they are so busy with the Super Bowl for installations. I talked them into tomorrow morning so I don't miss Lost. I told the lady no way could I miss it. So I'll be at home tomorrow waiting on the TV guy -- probably all day.

Donna - I hope you have a great time in Mexico.

I can relate to the laundry -- I have 2 baskets of clean clothes in my closet that need to be put away, a load in the dryer that has been there since Saturday that will have to be re-dried to get rid of the wrinkles and there is a large pile of clean clothes on the floor near my husband's closet in the other room. He finds it perfectly acceptable not to put his clothes away and to just wear them wrinkles and all straight out of the laundry basket.

Phyllis - congrats on making your goal - that's wonderful.

Donna I am going to miss you while you are gone. Which I was there too! Maybe next year Kevin and I will go on a trip to some wonderful beachy place!

I am in high spirits today! I woke up went to work, and worked out afterwards and had time to come home and get on the site! Because daughter is napping. And I am going to go shopping for hubbys birthday present when I drop kids off at mil's today. And then back to work for the night shift.

So my day is nice and packed. the way I like it. It makes me eat more but I always try to eat if I feel hungry so I don't get the shakes or my body wont go into starvation mode.

have a great day all...
and a great WI for the challenge tomorrow......
and Steven a great try - out.........
and Donna happy packing......
and laundry for the others......
and everyone a happy water day and fitness day!

Laundry! Don't even get me started. If my dryer didn't hate me so much, it wouldn't be so bad. Right now I'm carting it to my sister's house to dry everything.

$.75 per pound. Treat yourself every once in a while and make the laundromat clean and fold it for you- would make a great goal gift to yourself! It can be cheaper than the laundromat here... otherwise, buy Downy Wrinkle Releaser and let them fend for themselves!!! It works for dirty laundry, too, but I won't tell you how I figured that out.
