Excellent Bread find!

  • I do not know if this is a regional bread or not... but I have found Arnold's Seven Grain Bakery Light Bread.

What is excellent about this bread is the 5g of protein and the 5g of fiber! 80calories for 2 slices - it tastes good - If you can pick some up I highly recommend it. I made some french toast with it this am (no syrup - I don't like syrup) and I feel like a queen...

I am a simple gal with simple pleasures, LOL... Just wanted to share!
  • Yummy!!! Too bad they don't have it where I am at.
  • I will look for it next trip to the grocery store! Looks like several places have it here!
  • They don't distribute here either...and they don't let you order online bummer.
Sounds like something I would love...anyone want to mail me some LOL
  • Hey now Vicki thats not a bad idea! One of our old members we use to have (Karen C) couldn't find something one time and I actually mailed that item to her as a reward for her! LOL!
  • Most likely my stores will have it. But how do you mail bread?
  • Lol!
  • you guys are sweet to even think of mailing bread LOL
  • I found some Oatmeal Bread that I love toasted in the mornings and just eat it plain....Pettridge Farms brand, 45 cal. per slice....was a nice change.

  • You can mail bread by wrapping the loaf in bubble wrap, packing it in a slightly larger box and putting crumpled newspaper around it so that the contents do not shift.

I'm a frequent e-bay seller and I've managed a mail room, so I have experience in shipping lots of interesting things.
  • See I knew there was a way! LOL!
  • OK - they have the bread. Who wants it?
