Default Water intake question

I'm a newbe to the JC diet and have only joined the online plan. I know we are supose to have our 8 cups a day but does anyone know if tea counts for that water? Does the book go into any details on these type of things. I have thought of picking one up after the holidays.

Ok, I can tell you only water counts!!!! Sorry....if you have a caffine drink then you are to drink one extra glass of water for each one. So if you have to glass of tea ..... 1 extra glass of water, 2 cups of coffee...2 extra glasses of water.

I am struggling right now to get the 8 glasses in each day.......build it up don't try to drink all that water in one day.....takes time.

What Phyliis said I have worked my way up to a gallon a day. I break it up into 16oz goals throughout the day. It is much easier for me if I keep a water bottle with me all the time because then I drink it and don't even realize it Love when that happens! We look forward to getting to know you! So does caffene free tea count? I have almost completly elimenated diet soda and coffee. At first it was hard, not sure if I can completly give up the tea (I think the extra cup is worth tea once in a while).
I haven't made it up to 8 yet. Truth be told I use to be lucky to down 2 cups.

Caffene free is fine!! Just try to drink a bit more water everyday....almost everyone has a hard time with it. Took me quite awhile to get up to at least 8 glasses but now if I don't get it in I am missing it!!!

But you need the 8 glasses even with everything else you drink....

Thanks, ok here is another question. Are avocodos an ok food to eat? Is it vegitable or fat. I can eat i whole in a sitting. I usually make a sandwich out of it or put it in ,my saled. Is this a no no?

Alvacados are a- okay! BUT and a HUGE BUT........ only 1/8 of an avacado at a time. It is very healthy but is considered your fat. Very high in fat. If you NEED more and an 1/8 bump it up to 1/4, but then cut back on your butter or mayo (any fat) on your next meal.

Glad you are doing the diet. We love newbies!
