Default I've been so sick!

Hey all! My whole family has been sick! And everyone at work has been sick! So I have not been working out as diligently as I used to. I am doing my best to stay focused on the foods I partake of and to do my best with timing. In fact, I have now been sick for 8 days, I just can't shake this bug! I am on medication and everything. The good thing is the kids got over thier bug almost instantly with meds. So a mom can't complain.

I weighed in yesterday and was down to 152 and today I am at 153, so down 1 official pound today. It amazing how one big dinner can effect the scale like that. I went to a Dinner party last night and had a small amount of everything and no seconds and no irthday cake. The water there was aweful tasting so I had a little soda. I think the soda is what stuck to my ribs last night. Oh well. Just as long as I am down another pound after Thanksgiving I will be happy.

Sorry your family (and everyone else) is so sick! Thank goodness you are all feeling better.

Dinner parties, holidays and celebrations can be real diet-killers; I am the one cooking for Thanksgiving and am making everything lower-fat and the only sugar is in the dessert, there are lots of veggies and salads and *still*, if I have only a very small portion of everything, it will be 800 calories! I guess I will just plan my day accordingly.

Wow! 800 calories! Thats a lot! I will now eat very sapringly as I have TWO thanksgiving dinners to attend on the same day!

I love your trackers- they are adoreable!

Oh sorry you all have been so ill....but glad the children bounced back quickly for Mom's sake.

Take care of yourself so you don't get worse....you don't have the flu do you??

My weight is up but that is because I have been doing some emotional eating and several drinks......stopping my pity party today and moving on.....I will still eat the 3hr. schedule, water and exercise....just have to change some of the foods.

I hope you feel better soon Dani! Sicks are yucky I am glad your kids are feeing good. Makes it easier on you but don't forget to take care of yourself. Moms really dont have to do it ALL by themselves - give yourself a hug!
The thing that will get me on Thanksgiving is the deviled eggs! Luv them! Focus - focus! I will NOT eat a dozen eggs! HEHE!
Hey Dani! Soda has LOTS of salt in it! Drink water and flush it out! The scale can be so finicky. Are you taking your measurements?

I take my measurements about once a month. I will do it next weigh in.
