Default That darn scale

You know I really like my scale. Its one that send micro electronics and gets acurate readings downn to the ounces. As well as body fat. ALthough I never look at the body fat because I think its wrong. any ways, I think it's playing tricks on me.

After Tom left it didnt budge at all for WI. I was a little shicked and thought maybe that piece of candy is catching up yo me. And I know I am in a platue, maybe I am really stuck.

Oh no, that is not the problem. My scale knows when WI is and jumps to 155 wiether I am above or below it jumps to 155. Its a conspiracy. I know it! I WI this am and I am down to 153.8 , now tell me thats not my scale playing tricks on me.

those scales, up again, down again , WI - jump up. GRRR. Well maybe I will have to trick my scale this weekend and before I get on it, I will tell it is Tuesday or Wednesday! LOL!

Thought we were all in need of a little giggle.

Dani: I guess we'll always have a love/hate relationship with the scale, won't we? Some days I want to hug it, some days I want to throw it against the wall. That is why I try to have other ways to measure my success other than the scale. For some reason, though, I am always drawn back to it.

LOL - There is a scale union somewhere where the president demands conspiracy! Definetly my reminder that the scale is not the only sign of succes or progress. I fnally dropped 2 lbs this week after sts for 3 weeks but I did my measurements again Monday and have lost another 3 1/2 inches. For a total of 17 1/2! THAT'S progress
WTG Dani for the 153.8. You are doing great!

Red face

Way to go! Toeps, you will soon have to wear suspenders! Those scales are definately not a 'girl's best friend' - the temps here have suddenly gone 'way down', so hubby lit the gas pilot again, ready for fire action! Last night he asked for some 'winter foods' - and of course the stew tasted just SOOOO good, that I totally 'forgot' about 1/2C measures.... the result this morning was that those dumb scales lied to me again! back to 172 - 4 lbs up? - that CANNOT BE! Lesson learned yet again: do not eat at night time! I am back to the low glycemic shakes, bars and meals (with suitable protein and fiber and carbs) - will I ever learn!
Oh and by the way, from to-day my subscription ran out at JC's - so I am happy that I can access 3fc's again!

Nice to see you again Greta! Did you ever find out what the problem was?

hey again
Never did figure out what the problem was. Now when I click on the bookmarked link, it operates/opens like it always used to do - in other words, the whole page gradually opens up and I can participate! It is the weirdest thing!
I particularly appreciate this now where I have stopped with JCs website. I have the book as support anyway! and since I am convinced about the 3-hourly eating mode, I just keep "chugging along"...

I am so happy you can acccess this now Greta.

Donna- that is too funny. Speaking of jeans I never ever dry my jeans in the dryer because it shrinks them and I can not wear them anymore. Now I keep telling him - dont forget to put my jeans in the dryer so the do shrink! LOL! Poor hubby.
