Default Hi Ladies!

Some of you may remember me, it looks like others joined since I was here last. Summer came and went and I am no lighter - in fact, heavier! I am really, really trying to get back to basics, but it is hard.

My schedule is impossibly insane, but I am not willing to change it. I want to devote as much time to my kids as I can while they are young enough to want it/appreciate it. I basically get up at 5:15, get lunches packed, cook breakfast, get the kids and myself ready, out the door at 7:20 am, drop the kids at school, into work by 7:45 am, work till 5:30 (or past), go home pick-up the kids and start the rounds to whatever the activities are for the night. I usually finish the taxi rounds about 9:15 pm when I am finally free to sit down and relax before bed at 10 pm. So no, I don't exercise and no I don't have time for me. The weekends are no better - I work with my husband at the family grocery store if I am not busy carting the kids to dance, baseball and basketball.

My food is definitely not Jorge Cruise - I don't have the discipline to eat every 3 hours. My job is just too crazy and I ALWAYS lose track of the time. I am attempting to eat more salads and veggies, leaner meats, less fat etc.
It is going okay. I do pretty well during the week, but weekends are VERY hard for me. I don't have the will power to do the right thing. But I am really and truly trying to do the right thing. My daughters 8th grade graduation is next June and I would truly love to be wearing a size 10 dress by then. I am currently in a 16 or 14.

I just wanted to say hi to all my friends. I have popped in to read posts when I had a few moments. Work has been super busy for the last 3 months. (Think FULL system crash during my year end financial audit! ) I miss "chatting" with everyone!!! Dani it looks like you are doing great! Laurie how is it going for you? I haven't seen too many posts from you???? Teri is everything going well? How are you feeling? I am wishing you the best! Lynn - how are you and Donald fairing? Any improvement? Karen - have you been losing any more? Maintaining?

I hope ALL of you are doing well! I hope I can get back to post here more often in the near future. I think it helps to keep me on the up and up!

Tata! Sharon
