I just want to say good luck to all you you! I will not be joining since Oct 4 is the start of Ramadan and I will be fasting for the month. I will get to eat what I want though when the sun sets, so, that is a good trade I guess. I usually lose weight during the month but maybe not this time...we will see. Anyway, I will still be lurking around the corners...I wish I could join you on your challenge it would be fun...a good incentive!!!

Kristy, the challenge is just for how many pounds lost in 4 weeks and posting here 2 times a week. That's it. Please join in, there will be a special thread each week for our posts. You need only post once during the week, any day you like and then on Sunday at weigh in. It might help you stay on track and being new you just might win because you will probably lose fast.

Good luck on the JC plan....it took me a while to get the 3 hr. timing down but now it is just natural. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

I missed you gals also. Thank goodness that class is over. I love teaching, but by the end of the semester, I'm ready for a break. BTW - I just looked in Intros & Bios for info about Heidi & Kristy. I didn't find anything. How about you gals put some info about yourselves into our Intros & Bios thread?

Is this the thread for our "general post?"

Donald has his new motorized wheel chair & is learning to use it - harder than he thought it would be to learn to drive. I'm in the process of switching our clothes from summer to winter - probably too early to do this, but I need to start sometime.

Yesterday was good until dinner - Donald wanted a pizza & of course, I ate 3 pieces.

Off to a good start today.

Check back later,

Lynn

Lynn - so good to hear from you - we missed you!!!! I have been switching clothes, too; however today it is 87 degrees and the rest of the week is supposed to be warm as well. Go figure!!

Tomorrow I go for round #3 of chemo -- 3 more to go (I am halfway there). Work has been great with boss gone for 3 weeks, but he is back now Let's just leave it at that.

Phyllisi- I am not going to do this challenge because I never know after chemo what or if I will be able to eat. And then on my good weeks - I eat more than I should because everything tastes so good. Therefore - I gain, I lose -- I gain, I lose (the same pounds over and over). Can't wait to get back to normal - whatever that is!!
