GOOD morning everyone! How are we all doing? Well I have yet another busy day ahead of me. We dont' have football practice today but I am taking Steven school shopping today since NC is having the tax free weekend this weekend and to the doctor too.

He has been playing football for 2 weeks now, he is complaining his right heal hurts. I remember hearing my mom talk about when my youngest brother was this age, he would have growing pains in his heals. I have also heard other friends say the same thing. I think this is what it is, but I am not 100% convinced. It only hurts when he walks and runs and I would rather be safe than sorry so I think I am going to go have it checked out. Have any of you other moms experienced *growing pains*? If so, how long did it last?

Keiyn is finally getting better, she is fine as long as she is inside but as soon as she goes outside that nose starts pouring! Poor thing. The antiviotic really seems to be helping clear her up though.

Anyone have any special plans this weekend? We have football brite and early at 7:30 in the morning and the rest of the weekend is up in the air.

Hope everyone has an awsome day!

See that is why you have children while your young!!! The pace you keep up would kill me!! LOL I remember those early a.m. practices.....always had to take my coffee.

Working today so I need to get moving here. No big week-end plans as I still have a bit of recovering yet to do but feeling quite good now. Just don't feel like running around much yet.

I did start the 8mm this week, have added 1 extra glass of water and started on one 1000 mg. flax pill a day.......so improvements are being made.

Got to run, y'all have a good day ya hear! Phyllis

laurie- how old are your boys? mine are 5 & 7 and they both play football too. i would like am practices, ours are 5:30-7:30 so i have been eating dinner at 4:30 and having the pm snack at around 8 (breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner, snack- that's ok right). my older son gets growing pains all the time, mostly in his shin or lower leg area. hot water bottle helps him.

well it's friday. i didn't get that job but i am looking into this one teaching at the adult school where i would teach seniors, ged classes, etc. i coulc work part time while the boys are in school and then still have a couple hours to hit the gym before i have to pick them up. i hope it works out.

i'm done to 140 so maybe some of the weight is starting to come off, it's about time. i have to hit the gym today, haven't been since monday, bad girl...

went to see the king tut exhibit yesterday, pretty cool seeeing all that stuff that is in great shape and 3300 years old, amazing.

well i'm off to read some other posts here. have a great day!

Steven is 13, he practices Mon- Thurs 6:45 - 9:00pm, he will eat dinner around 5pm and then eat again at 9:30 when we get home! He also has an early morning practice on Saturdays for 2 1/2 hours.

Just got back from the doctor with Steven and his foot, turns out his *growth plates* in his feet are inflamed so we have to work on that !

On my way to start school supply shopping!!!

OMG What a week! Anybody miss me? It all started on Sunday when we went to my DB and SIL house. Skip to Monday, I went up to Seattle with my sister and Mom and our business coach to a wholesale building, spent 6 hrs on my feet after 5 hrs of sleep, got home at 10:30 pm and finally too bed at 2:30 am. Tuesday I woke up feeling like I got hit by a truck! Thinking it was lack of sleep, my DD "babysat" while I "caught an hour nap". I woke up feeling even worse! I talked to me Mom and she was sick and my Dad and my brothers and every other adult that went visiting on Sunday. Wondering if it was food poisoning. Except nobody got sick til Monday night or Tuesday. Wednesday I felt better but really tired. DH came home early from work and slept all day. Feeling good yesterday, and glad that the kids were fine! Skip to LATE last night - 4 out of 6 PUKING kids! . It was a very long night, and I have a ton of blankets to wash - on top of our average 800 loads a day anyway! Everybody seems okay today, tired but not puking-hoping it stays that way! Anyway here's hoping to a great weekend. It's been hot! 96* yesterday. Not sure what WI will bring on Sunday (been living on green tea and cinnamon sugar toast for the last 3 days) but I'm hoping to be able to get out for a walk this evening when it cools off. Have a wonderful weekend!

Sorry everyone is sickies at your house donna. At mine this is whats new: My DH is having severe stomach cramps for the past 3 days. He can hardly work. I hope its not an ulcer. He has had a lot of changw within the past 4 years: His dad past away, his great aunt past away, his grandpa is dying and has a hard time wlking now, his grandmas heart is going out, another grandma died, and another grandpa on a pace maker. His mother moved from his childhood house 6 months after his dad died. He married me, we moved 3 times, bought a house, cars, and I didnt have a job for most of this time. Then we also had a baby as well. So I REALLY hope its not an ulcer but with the past 4 years I wouldn't doubt it. also his mom always relies on him for help since she is alone now.

Yesterday my son had a sore throat and then that night I got a sore throat. Hes been fine but I got the chills and they wouldnt stop and a fever of 102. I major headache also. So Im trying to shake off this bug that I have.

Other than that I still have the 11 yr old girl. I will have her for the entire month straight. Nice thing is I am getting paid. We need it now too.

and we have my nephew and nieces birthday party to go to on Sunday so that will be fun!

Uh oh - I better stay away from you sickies - I don't want to catch what you gals have

I had Pergo laid in Donald's room today. What a lot of work! I had to remove everything except the large furniture pieces - including get everything out of the closet. I think it took me longer to move stuff out & back in than it took them to lay the flooring.

Tomorrow I will see my DF and we will do something. If it is as hot tomorrow as it was today, it will be something inside. Sunday morning I will see Karen (Serenity). Last I heard, her mother is out of the hospital & Karen is working as the manager of a small lawyers' office in Philly.

Donald and I are doing well. We are to visit his DB's house on Monday for a cook-out. First time I will have ever been to their house. Not sure how DH will be able to get around there. Luckily, Selekie has agreed to come with us.

Check with you tomorrow.

Lynn
