Default I got it!!!!!

I got the job at 24 Hour Fitness! I am working at the front desk and that is exactly what I wanted! I am thrilled! My dh is happy too! He says that he'll bring the kids down and work out out so they will be able to see me at work. There is a Kids Club there, and I believe its free for me to use as long as I'm working out, or DH is. So that would be neat to have the kids there while DH works out and I work. Plus, I'll be right there and can workout before or after shifts now! No excuses! I think this will REALLY help.

I still have the job where I work at home taking orders over the phone. And this past week my hours have tripled! Well guess what that means for my scale??? You guessed it I have gained 2 pounds back already! I know TOM is close and I want to blame it on that but you know how frustrating that is???? I think sitting in front of the computer all day has something to do with thosse pounds as well. One more week of a crapy schedule and then I can work early mornings at home and then evening/night shifts at the Club!

Anyways I am so HAPPY!!!! Thrilled is more like it!

My DH has the day off today and I have to work 9:30AM - 12:15 and then again at 2:30 - 5:00pm Doesn't that bite! We are planning a picnic at the park for lunch!

Why are you having to work so much with the at home job? I thought you could set your own hours?

For the first month (training but on the phone) the people who are there to answer questions instantly work 9a-5p, So I have to have my availability at least 25 hours a week between those times. After one more week I will only post availability like 6am - 11am and then they post about 3-4 hours per shift each day with those hours. So it will be nicer to have the rest of the day off and work at the club at night.

Congrats on getting the job....Sounds like you will be very busy young lady....take good care of yourself, don't get overwhelmed. Do you get free workouts at the gym?
That would be great.

What is you phone business? Can you share, I must have missed that somewhere along the line. If you can't that's OK.

Good luck to you, Phyllis

Thanks all!!!The phone thing is this:

I work at home answering phone calls for Office Depot. I got hired like 2 months ago but scheduling never worked out well for training. SO training was done kinda late. Now for the next month - although Im into that month already. I have to be availabe only when coaches are available. So thats tough sometimes. But if 24 hour pays better I'll probably quite the Office Depot job.

Congrats Dani!! I tell you once I am in the gym atmosphere...I really get in to it...its makes you want to lose the weight and get moving. I have a treadmill at home and it just isnt the same. Also-I was really looking for a job like what you have with home depot-how did you find it?? Just curious!!

Congrats again!

Thanks all! The Office Depot thing I found over the internet. And you have to live in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, or Texas. If you live in those states and are interested let me know.

And mom.... it also means I'll see you more in the club!!! That will be awesome!
