*********Question POINT*************

Why do you have this weight to lose? Really think about it for a while.
Because I just love food. It all taste so good. It's so much a part of every social occassion and holiday there is. And I don't want to be leftout!

My only reason for losing weight is my back pain. The more I weigh, the more pain. If I didn't have my pain pills, I'd probably be at goal by now.

Shannon:

Yes you can join. New people are always welcomed here. Just start posting so we can get to know you. Are you a teacher? You mentioned that you were off all summer and being closer to the fridge. So I am assuming you might be a teacher???? Welcome.

Okay for today:
I was feeling down still about the challenge. Thats why I wasnt here earlier to post an activity or question of the day.

I REALLY thought hard about this and came up with this scenario. You can either a. Keep track of your own points for the week and on saturday or Sunday YIM or email them to me. or B. Continue the way I've set it up. By YIM daily.

Either way will be fine just let me know how you want to do it. I want this challenge to "fit" your own lifestyle. If you dont have time to YIM then keep track of it on your own and then later YIM your score. I will continue to post a daily question or activity for bonus points. I think it helps those who dont stay OP to get some points. (Like me)

Please reply to the post and tell me your thoughts or ideas.

Newbies or anyone that hasn't started the challenge its definatly NOT too late to start! Let me know if you have any questions.

*******Question Point******

What would make this challenge more specific to your lifestyle, what improvements would you make on it?

My answer: Put questions in color so they're easier to spot for everyone to answer. i will start doing this from now on.

Anything to get me to do strength training/muscle building exercise.

Improvements: Being able to track our own pts and send them to you once a week.

Hi Dani!

PLEASE don't be down - you are doing/have done an AWESOME job with this challenge! YOU ROCK!

I LOVE the idea of sending our points once a week to you via YIM. Very easy to do. The questions in color are great too.

Maybe we should answer in color to make it easier for YOU to find the answers? I guess that is my suggestion :-) Also, I need the (big surprise here) EXCERCISE incentive.

Thanks again Dani.

okay you got it your will be once a week too. You can answer in any color. I am paying very close attention. But your right answers you'd probably stick out. I am always going to use blue. So just dont use that color use that pink or a red so its very different from the blue, so others canspot the questions easily.

Next week (I'll post it tomorrow) the challenge changes up a bit so watch for a week 2 thread soon for details of the Step #2 on the challenge. Its probably no surprise as what it will be.

(I'm answering later, I want to think on it)

Well, I REALLY thought about this I have it to lose because I am not selfish enough. Sounds weird, but true. Everyone else's needs are always put before my own so I am not able to get serious about losing the weight. I EAT what everyone else wants. I COOK what my family likes. My SCHEDULE is driven by my family activities. I don't EXCERCISE because I don't take the time out for myself to "just do it" as Nike says. I need to put myself (or my weight loss journey) first. Only then, do I think that I will be able to get serious about this journey.

OK I am coming into this late and feel like I have missed so much since I have been so busy:

Have a daily thread on the challenge, this one thread is kind of confusing. I skim through it but I still feel like I miss something.
