  • No bug for me but my mom has it now!
  • Good morning everyone - Ya'll sound like lots going on this weekend. I'm just gonna work in the yard and maybe get my cupboard doors in the kitchen finished (painted) - AAAAGH! IT's been an on going process. Got up this morning and feel good about staying OP today so send me a prayer.
Billy's Bootcamp over there is starting to give me the creeps I think he's staring at me! Saying Donna, get your butt off the couch and go visit with the elliptical! It's suppose to be 90* tomorrow-I wonder if I fit in the kiddy pool? GLUG! GLUG! GLUG!
    Have a wonderful OP day!
  • Teri,

Karen (Serenity) has the same dizzy disease as you! I had never heard of it before she got it. Now I know of 2 people with it! I will tell her about the drug you take.
She gets is kind of frequently & has taken some serious falls because of it.

    Lynn
  • Wow, a lot going on here....

Laurie - have fun cooking without tasting

Karen - Congrats on being down 1 pound!!!!! You are doing great, as usual!!

Lynn - Not much is up with me - just focusing on staying OP! By the way, where is Avalon?

Becky - What was your day job that you quit? I know what you mean about loosing track of the days when you don't work. I do that all the time!!!! Hey, congrats on the 1.5 pound released!

Jessica - At least you had LITE bread!!! Just start again!!! Don't beat yourself up! Just keep going. I have finally told myself that I will always get off track once in a while. That is life. I won't be able to control that. I think the trick is to just get back on track and just try to minimize the times you get off track. But, we are human. It will always happen at some point!

Allison -- Are you pregnant???!!!! Hmmmmmm??? Vertigo - wanting to puke???

Julianna -- Keep on going. The pounds WILL eventually come off. Just keep plugging away. Jorge has a tip today about being patient. I will post it later. I can really relate to the tip!

Becca - Don't go to the Pie Shoppe!!!! Or, drink something instead. I see that Laurie has already gotten the whip! I already said this in another post but congrats on the no-smoking and staying OP!

Dani - HI! Looking forward to the challenge!

Dory - Yes, I am LAST here!!! I can relate to the hot weather!!! Although it is a bit hotter where you are. I am dying. It is way too hot for me!

Teri - Sounds like you are doing well!!!! Keep up the good spirits!

Donna - Have a wonderful weekend and get on that Elliptical!!! Just start with 10 minutes. Then, once you are on you can keep going if you feel like it.

I took a sneak peak on the scale again. I am down another pound making me STS for the week! I am hoping to at least loose another 1 pound by Sunday but I think it will be a long shot.....

    Have a great day!!!
  • First, thanks so much to you all for your encouragement regarding my midnight snack last night. I don't know if it was the right thing to do or not, but I didn't have carbs with my breakfast this morning, figuring that I had more than my share at 2am! And, I am not too mad at myself, after all. I realize that it is not realistic to be perfect 24/7. I'll settle for 95 percent of the time!

Okay, it has been a LONG day, but I'm finally back to check in with y'all. After my acupuncture appointment (which was good... she thinks I ovulated!!!! yeah!!!) dh and I went to lunch at Fuddruckers. I had never been there. Dh ordered, listen to this: a 1/2 pound burger with three kinds of cheese, fries and a chocolate milkshake!!!! For about 5 seconds, I was thinking, "oh, what the heck, I'll do that too! After all, I screwed up last night, what's another meal. I'll get back on track tomorrow." But, then, I remembered that's the OLD me. I make better choices now. So, ladies, da-da-da-dah!!!!! Guess what I ordered? A GRILLED chicken sandwich and a side salad with fat free dressing, with water to drink! It was a huge sandwich, so I didn't even eat it all. I had one of dh's french fries, and one bite of his burger. My lunch was WAY better than his! And I'm sooooooo proud of myself for overcoming the temptation. Then we went to see the movie "Wedding Crashers". It was pretty funny! Then stopped at Trader Joe's and picked up some psyllium husks, among other things! Now we are finally at home. Long day.

Anita, I can't help doing the sneak peaks too! At least you are seeing good things when you peak, huh??? Keep up the great work!

Donna, you do Billy's Bootcamp, huh! I don't know if I could do that without laughing!! Did you end up staying OP today! I'm sending prayers your way!!

Teri, it sounds like you have a busy weekend planned! Have fun! I hope your son had fun at camp. You're welcome for the cards. Thanks for the compliments. You could learn to stamp pretty easily, it's not too hard!

Dory, have a great weekend! Where are you headed?? It is a good habit to split your restaurant meals!!!

Dani, I like your new photo too. I forget, what is your new job??

Becca and Mark---WAHOOO!!!!! you are awesome! STAY SMOKE FREE!!! :-)

Julianna, hang in there! We have to be patient, right???

Allison, good choice with the Diet Coke! You know, I don't even miss alcohol anymore!! I hope you don't have Vertigo! That won't make for a fun bachelorette party!

Becky, you do flower arrangements??? And sell them at Hallmark? How cool is that!!! Thanks for the encouragement. I have conference calls every monday evening. I will keep you all updated, unless you tell me you don't want me to!!

Lynn, glad you had a nice visit with family, and I hope you have a great trip! Details when you get back, please!!!

Nikki, how are you doing? Good OP day??

Karen, busy day, today, huh? Did you fit in a swim? I still haven't decided if I'll get HP book tonight or not. Will you start reading it right away?

Laurie, thanks for keeping us all in line! How are YOU doing? I hope all is well, and you and your kids are healthy again!!

Hello and happy day to Phyllis, Barb, and Sharon, and anyone else I may have missed! I hope you all have a great weekend! Two days til weigh in!!!!!

    LLLOVE (that's Lifetime Loser Love...),
  • Jessica, that is GREAT that you stayed strong at Fuddruckers. Wow. That is hard! Boy, your husband must have been full after that meal!

It is so hard to stay on track when the person you are with is eating whatever they want. But, you did it!!!! YEAH!
  • Jessica! WAY TO GO!!!! That's awesome! Proud of you! Thanks for thinking of me, today I've done ALMOST perfect on plan - I got up late so I had my meals every 2 1/2 hrs so I'm not eating til midnite. And I think my backteeth are floating I've had so much water today!
  • Anita - if figured one of us had to be last and since you had not posted yet, it had to be you! Maybe we should have a contest running.....AND YES it is sooooooooo hottttttt. 110 last I checked. HOT!

Jessica - I have been there done that with the fertility issue and my heart goes out to you. I don't think it is anything you can possibly really, really understand unless you go through it. Please YIM or e-mail me anytime if you need support, encouragement, whatever. I will be sending POSITIVE thoughts your way!

Hope everyone else is staying COOL and OP
