Default New again....

Hello everyone; not sure where I fit in, in terms of posting just yet, so I guess I will tell a little about me and maybe someone can give some advice.
I am a 35 year old, and struggling with weight, everyone in my family seems to struggle with it. I did the Body for life about 7 years ago, had great success, and kept off the weight for two years. Then the inevitable happened, got hitched and moved to a small town where gyms were few, and my new hubby was not into as much as me... so the gym became less important, we ate out more often, and the weight started to pile on. Slowly over the past 5 years it has creapt up above where i originally started, now being my heaviest ever. (this includes pregnancy weight as well..ouch). So I am at a point , I love to eat, and hate to exercise. And hard to switch that around. I did however start by buying a stair stepper, which i have not used.. and blamed it on being busy.. but tired of being this big, nothing fits anymore, and i refuse to buy clothes because I have hope of fitting them again.. If there are any threads you think I fit into well.. let me know.. I will be glad to have some ppl I can talk to in order to help me along with my new journey of wanting to become healthy and fit again.

Hi there! There are a couple of threads about Body for Life in the Ladies Who Lift forum. A couple of us don't use a gym either.
Come and look? We'd be happy to have you.

Welcome back. I have a home gym. I have equipment, but you don't necessarily need that to be fit. By stepper do you mean elliptical? I have had GREAT success with mine. My back fat just MELTED away! My butt lifted about 3 inches from where it once was. My legs are toned and lean. You'll love it.

You can use Resistance bands and dumbbells to get a great work out. You can do push ups against a wall or your kitchen counter. You can do lunges, squats, jog in place, jumping jacks. Just move and you will be successful!

Best of luck.
