Default New here

Well as the title says, I'm new. I had WLS a year ago this past October. I'm down to the last stubborn 4 pounds. I've already exceeded my doctor's expectations. Going through a bit of a rough patch right now, and looking for all the support I can get to keep on track.

I am with you on the last stubborn pounds...I have about 6 to go myself, I am amazed at your success!!! WAY TO GO GIRL!!!! Do you have to eat alot of protien after that kind of surgery?? Seems to me that my friend did after she had it, plus a whole wad of vitamins, but she is able to walk now and she wasnt before she had it, kind of a life or death thing for her and she was only 25 or so, she is good now though and active in her church..she always wanted to be able to do that and her dream is realized, I hope I can help you lose your last few, but really you are at an awsome weight for your height...you can do it...I believe in you

Thanks Christie. I'm supposed to eat alot of protein, but I have some problems with it. I had to relearn what I liked and didn't like all over again. My doctor is happy with my loss, but I want more. Medically ideal for my age and height is 147. I'm close enough to that now. In a size 10 again for the first time in 13 years.
