I was once on the grapefruit diet which worked extremely well, but you have to have some sort of balance.. thanks, hope to hear from you guys soon.

Welcome to 3FC. You have come to the right place to get support. Everyone here is so great. I have been posting since March and would never have stuck with my weighloss if it wasn't for this site.

One thing I think you need to hear is that you should'nt "diet". Diets are for people who want to loose 10 pounds. Most everyone here at 3FC have made lifestyle changes. If I were to diet to loose everything I need to loose when the diet was over I would gain everything back. We can't do that we have to stick with our changes for life. Now that doesn't say you can't have the "good" stuff, too. You just have to do it with moderation.

I would like to invite you to drop by the thread I post in regularly. It is a great bunch of ladies and we are always happy to welcome new faces. I am sure you could get alot of ideas from everyone there as to what might work for you. 1lb. Down And Plenty More To Go!

Hi and welcome!
I'll tell ya what I did because I still had family at home to feed. I made the 'regular' meat, potatoes and veggies dinner ... but I chose chicken and fish more often than not and I only ate the meat and vegetables. Nobody seemed to mind that there was a salad every night or that we had no fat dressing.

Default I can relate!

Hi,
I had to post here, since I can totally relate to the 'mommy weight' thing too. My 3 kids are 5 and under, and I never really lost all the weight from the first one before having the second and third. So, I've finally had it. It may have something to do with being asked last week by a guy I know when I'm due Like, duh. That is not a smart question to ask a woman who has a one-year-old at home. So, back at it. This time though, I'm swearing off "diets". Time to break out the sneakers.
