I registered a while ago after lurking for weeks and I finally decided to post.
I'm a 24 year old New Yorker and I've been overwight since I was 16. I think I put on the weight due to medication when I was diagnosed for depression combined with unhealthy eating habits. My New Years solutions earlier this year was to start losing the weight. The beginning of this year I weight 230 pounds and now I weight 194. I'm still struggling to reach my goal weight of 145. I decided to lose all of the weight because I was tired of complaining about it and of course for health reasons. Judging from the posts here everyone seems nice and supportive.
