Hi everyone!! My name is Sacena and I need help losing weight. I generally eat healthy yet I am gaining weight...what is going on?! Anyway, I am very unhappy with the way that I look and feel and therefore here I am. I would like to lose 30 - 40 lbs. I am currently 22 years old, 5'1" 155lbs and would like to be 115 - 120lbs. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi and welcome! Tell us a little more about what you eat and do for exercise and we'll see what we can do for you.

well typically i don't exercise except for taking the steps instead of the elevator at work (i have an office job). my problem is i really do not feel like i have the time. work is 6a-6p from wake up until i get homw from work and i am also doing my master's degree online so need less to say i barely have time to breathe. for breakfast i eat 3 hard boiled egg whites (1 pt ww) and a banana or yogurt (2 pts ww), for lunch i might have soup or a wrap and for dinner whatever my mom makes which is usually healthy because my dad is diabetic and has heart problems. i am not a junk food junkie or anything but i LOVE comfort food. for example, today i had 2 poached eggs, english muffin for breakfast, for lunch i had mandarin oranges, a pear, and hamburg helper and for dinner i had broccoli, baked potato, chicken and a pickle. i need to come up with more ideas for lunch to take to wrok, though. Thanks for you question

Oh lunch? In my bag today I've got low fat cottage cheese, a couple of cubes of soy cheese, a couple of fat free yogurts, a few slices of fat free turkey, grapes, an apple, a banana and a baggie of mixed cut up vegetables. I have a patient assignment this morning but I'm going to desk clerk after 11 am so I need some nibbly things for sitting at the phones and computer.

I'd like you to try to do a few more minutes of intentional exercise. Have you heard of Jorge Cruise and his "8 Minutes in the Morning"?
