Hi there!
I see you're in BC like myself!
I think you need to sit down and think about what's going on, and then make a plan. Plans are the best place to start ANY project, right? Just like your kids in school would do.
I SOOOO know where you're coming from, re the motivation part. I looked for motivation for years. I saw it everywhere. Reasons why I'd want to be thin. Let me count the ways....
I'd feel better
look healthier
live longer
no longer have to shop at 'fatties r us'
you know what I mean, right?
"Motivation" .. and my reasons, did not make me do it. I could not understand why.. why when I have SO many reasons not to live this way, would it not motivate me?
Well.. we all have to come to the right place in our mind to begin with. What are your reasons for gaining? or, have you always had a tendency to gain? these are some things to start with. Maybe you're not giving yourself any "me" time and neglecting YOU, because you are busy with children. ( I'm not saying you ARE.. it's just a maybe). I know lots of moms tend to give all of themselves and then leave none for THEM.
You are worth this. You need to try, no matter how many times you have tried before. Try again. There's no shame in that.
Sit down and think about it, how you can do this. What kind of eating plan can you stick to? Look for a meal plan that will best match your lifestyle, one that you really can stick with and not feel like you're going to lose your mind. Some things may work for others that do not work for you. Realize you are an individual so you need an individual plan!! not a plan for everyone else.
I hope this helps?
Best to you,
~ Angie
