Default Newbie here...

Hey all! I'm Samantha from Louisiana. I did a search for weight loss tickers and happened across you guys! I'm already a part of Spark so I thought maybe I could get a double dose of inspiration if I joined here too. I have a long way to go and hardly any will power.. So any help you can would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again for having me!

Hello and welcome!! As you can see by my numbers I have a looong way to go also. But you gotta start some time and now is a good a time as any. As far as the will power goes - I started keeping a kind of journal and I write down all the positives of keeping all this weight on and the negatives and when ever I feel like I'm gonna break I take a look at it. I just jot down all the reasons I wanna lose this weight and it really helps me to look at it. Sometimes I look at it 10 times a day. Well good luck and hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the welcome! My problem is I don't eat much during the day, but snack late at night while I'm sitting her surfing the web or what have you. And the snacks are like Little Debbie Snack Cakes and stuff. But today, I actually started. I ate breakfast which consisted of a slice of toast with a teaspoon of butter (not fat free or low fat because I haven't been to the store yet) a fruit bowl and a bottle of water, for a total of 150 calories and 4 grams of fat. I didn't count the other stuff. But I'm excited. I'm printing out exercises now and after I'm done eating and checking all this stuff out, I'm going to do my morning exercises.
