Hi, I am a returner WW dieter although I am new to this site. I joined 7/29/06 but I have not started (again) yet. I am sure we could both use some encouragement. I also have dome WW in the past. The first time I lost 20 pounds (all I needed then) but that was six years and two kids ago. Since then I have gained alot more weight and I have started and stopped numerous times. I am trying a different approach this time. I joined this site and I plan to use it to encourage others and myself. In addition, I plan to set up mini goals for myself because 50 pounds seems so far away.
For example when I lose 10 lbs I am going to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. 15 lbs maybe a new (not a cheap one either) tube of lipstick. 20 lbs a bottle of perfume. 30 -some sexy lingerie. etc.. I haven't made my list up yet but I am going to make it and post it on my refrigerator so I can have something to look forward too.
AND....I am changing my way of thinking. In the past if I messed up one day I said, "Oh Well, I keep screwing up. I am never gonna lose this weight" and then I give up. This time "This is not the end all. It is not over and I am not failing. I WILL keep going".
I would love to share ideas, ups and especially DOWNS ( as in our weight) with you.
