What type of plan are you doing?

Good Luck to you on your weight loss journey.
Talk to you soon.
I haven't started a plan yet That's where hopefully you and others come in . I'm in the search of one that fits my everyday needs using real food. My husband can eat the house and not gain an ounce, while me on the other hand, I smell the food and gain it. It's hard for me because when we cook at home, it's everything in the fridge, why we do that? I don't know know. Like for instance, yesterday, we got the BBQ going for the first time this season, and my DH wanted to cook everything, hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken. Boy, this isn't portion size now is it? Anyway, that's "in a nutshell" how my lifestyle is for now, I need to change, please help. By the way, I'm from Warren, Michigan, yourself?
Well, I'm just realizing today's date is May 1st, what a great day to start a life change in the start of a new month. Wow, where did the time go?
Anybody from my area in Michigan?
What is everyone's plan? I haven't got one in mind yet - just looking for the best one that fits my needs. Like I said, I'm looking for a plan that uses real food. I guess my problem is potion size and when the combination of food I use. I also have to move more...I guess my problem is getting started and motivated, I already know what my deal is...boy, it sure is hard.
Oh I can so relate Oochie. My hubby is really tall and then and he eats non-stop all day long. It's not easy but he has been very encouraging when it comes to my weight loss. If he wants something bad for dinner he always asks,"Can you eat that and if not what can you eat".
I count calories and exercise. So far its working for me. I simply love food too much to be on a plan that limits the types of food that you can eat.
Take your time figuring out what works for you. Remember it needs to be something that you can stick with.
One suggestion, if portion control is where you want to start, then start by using a smaller plate for all your meals.
As far as exercise I do WATP (Walk Away The Pounds). I absolutly love them. They make all sorts of tapes so it might be a good starting point.
