Default Looking for some buddies.

Hey all,
Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm 23f looking for a buddy to help me keep on track with my fitness goals. I gained about 35 pounds over the last few months for reasons I haven't figured out and now I've begun to eat all the time with the idea that it's ok to eat it now because tomorrow I'll start eating properly but as we all know that never happens

I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone who can and for me

Hi Molly and Welcome!

That is a hard habit to break the all or nothing diet. I been there and done that too many times. I would over eat and instead of stopping I would eat more telling myself I would restart my diet tomorrow. And tomorrow would come and go too many times. This time I tell myself if I mess up too bad and I start that second with making things better. Are you following any specific diet?

Hi All,

Just married 6 months ago, need to drop the 20 pounds I have gained!!! I would like to lose it by summer - anyone interested in giving me swift kick in the butt?

Congratulations on your marriage. 20 pounds off by Summer sounds reasonable. Do you have a diet and exercise plan?

Hi alwaysbelieve,

Thanks for your reply! What do you think is a safe and realistic timeframe to lose 25 pounds.....no diet plan yet. I want to work on portion control, and also adding more veggies. I also think it`s best if I don`t eat after 7pm. I go on the treadmill 3-4 times a week, for half-hour (run and walk), and try my best to drink lots of water.

Hi Jen

Losing 1-2 pounds per week is a safe and realistic goal to lose 25 pounds by the end of July or early part of August. Of course you might lose more or less during that time. You seem to have a good exercise program using the treadmill 3-4 times per week. Drinking lots of water is also a very good part of any weightloss plan. All you need to do now is decide on an eating plan and you are ready to reach your goal.
