Default Is this thing on?

Hi out there!! I'm not to sure how this "thread" thing works and of course I don't want to stop and read any directions so if anyone reads this, could ya please respond so that I at least know my heart felt words are being appreciated by someone!! Anyway, I've been posting on the journal section of this site but thought it might be a good idea to ask for a buddy(ies). I'm a 38 yr old single mom of a 14yr old monster-teen(just kidding, she's pretty good) and have lost almost 30 lbs on ww since Jan. 10, 06, which of course is great but I'm starting to backslide (choc donut is sitting on my mouse!) and really need support! I know what to do and I know what works for me but I just can't seem to let go of the chocolate, and once I start on the sugar fo'getabouit! It's down hill from there!!! My boyfriend says my personality changes when I'm "in the sugar" and he claims he's witnessed my head to spin once around("The Exorcist") I told him he was wrong, wrong, wrong! (I hope no one goes diggin' in the back yard anytime soon!!) So, if there's anyone out there brave enough to go through the "sugar shakes" with me, please respond. I'm hoping I can figure out this forum stuff so that I can get back to you!! I always knew ditching computer lit. class was going to bite me in the *** one day!!

Welcome. Oh I know just what you mean about the sugar. I once tried to keep away from it. Just cut it right out of my diet cold turkey. (of course natural sugar in fruits and stuff was okay).
after about 3 or 4 days my family was begging me to have some sugar because I turned into a monster. All evil and moody lol

Girlfriend I am with you!!! Thats where I fall every time!! I can be just great on my diet for 2 or even three weeks straight but then I think uhoh I'm PMSing and now I NEED chocolate! Last week I ate 3 twix bars in one setting!!! Then I get on this train of thought that oh well since I blew it today I'll just eat what ever I want for the rest of today and start over tomorrow. Problem is that chocolate bar looks just as good tomorrow so I think ...well.. just one more day. Then next thing you know I'm starting the whole "lifestyle change" over again a week later and I havent lost a pound.
So I say .. put down the doughnut and back away slowly!!
You can do it! And if you are feeling evil Midol helps!!

Hello and welcome!! First thing you need to do is throw out the chocolate donut off your mouse! If you wait for "motivation" it will never happen...just have to make the decision and DO it... and yah I know it is hard!!!
