my name is leandra, i started at 268 , am now 258, i am only 5'2 so hope for a goal of 120 lbs, taking it 5 little lbs at a time. currently i am just counting calories and watching portion sizes and trying to exercise 30 mins 5 times or more a week but excercise is my biggest issue. I have done the same as you, I do small goals (5-10lbs) a month. I try not to focus on my main goal because that to me is so discouraging..Like something that I will never make. So by doing it in pieces gives you a joy knowing that you DID IT!
I started the tredmill about the same as you (its so boring) so I started buying books on cd's to listen to and before I knew it I was up to 45 min and so on.

Hi leandra! I'm 2 inches taller with about 20 pounds more. This losing thing is tough, I don't feel like I've lost a pound this week. My pants were tight (I was hoping it was menstrual bloating) when just last week they weren't. *Sigh* And I have my 5 year old son home on Spring Break (so there is more of a tendency to eat with him and snack throughout the day).

Im 5'6 and 278 lbs, wanting to lose 130 lbs. I am ok with working out once I start, kicking and screaming to get me to start that is.
Food is my problem,,,sometimes forget Im on a diet and eat the carbs.
Would like to have a buddy to have to be accountable with...do the support each other,,,kick each others butt when needed,,,lol
