Hi, My name is Vanessa and I am a foodaholic!



Now that's over with... Im 26, married wtih two boys; 2.5 and 9 months. I am 5'8" and my highest weight was 261 last June 1st. Right now I wegh 201, so I have lost 60 pounds this last 6 or so months. I dont know how I did it, stress, breastfeeding, walking since the weather was nice. I need to lose another 50 pounds though. I have PCOS, thyroid problem, and a high risk of cancer, so I am trying to get healthy and well, stay alive really..

so yea, me in a low fat nutshell..

Well, I (loosely on some days) follow a diet prescribed by my herbalist. No fruit, no bread, no sugar, lots of protein, veggies, eggs, moderate cheese, nuts, flax and hemp oil, extra virgin coconut oil to cook with and as a supplement. I think its pretty close to the south beach style.

As for exercise, in the summer I do walk lots. I am going today to renew my membership at the Y, and I got yoga and pilates dvds from the library...

The Ladies Who Lift often mention that they eat something like South Beach. Let me see .... there's also PCOS threads and Exercise Accountability threads. Have you had a look around?
