Hi I'm Kore, new to the group and looking for a buddy. My highest weight was 308 (size 26/28) and am looking to go to 130 (the magic number). I got down to 213, but stopped cold when I realized that I was ending up with WAY too much loose skin. I have since jumped back up to 225 (size 18/20). Two summers ago I had a major accident and spent the following year learning to rewalk. I am walking ok now but have problems with little things like getting groceries into the house and laundry out.
I am going to start loosing weight again and this time I'm going to work out to get the skin to reduce along with the weight, I might even add some muscle
I am using the old fashion method of calorie counting (using calorieking software) and working out. Last week I went to deep water exercise twice and it killed me, however I am going to go back this week, and the next, and the next after that. I don't believe in the no pain no gain (or loss) mantra but I have come to realize for me its a daily reality. I need to work through the emotional and physical blocks which life presents and having a buddy along the way would be great! I know I can do this and I know you can too!
